    When Galactus turned Norrin Rad into the Silver Surfer, was he turned into an energy being and encased into his silver body, or is he still flesh and blood under all that silver?

    He's Power Cosmic. When he gets really damaged his skin cracks and the energy begins to seep out, much like blood would on us. It takes a lot to crack his skin though.

    since the title is about questions about Surfer, heres another...is her physically stronger than the likes of supes, thor and other powerhouses, and can he really augument his already powerful strength to incalculable levels?

    @Silver man: The Silver Surfer does indeed have comparable levels of super strength and in theory it should be limitless. The problem is that he really doesn't have many feats to back it up. With his wide range of abilities, the Surfer rarely has to use super strength or brute force to achieve his goals.

    since the annialation upgrade he physically beat down Beta Ray Bill who is suppose to be Thor's equal  
    if it's pre-annalation he probably isn't as strong as Thor

    What is the power cosmic exactly? I read Silver Surfer essential vol1 to learn the answer. It just looks like an accuse to say he can do anything.
