She-Hulk: Lady Liberators #1

She-Hulk teams up with the members of the Lady Liberators to bring a little justice to another country. Later her friend Jazinda is captured by government agents forcing She-Hulk to fight her way to rescue her. 

This is the final installment of this She-Hulk series which was written by Peter David. Normally I'm a fan of Peter David but this isn't exactly the type of Peter David comics I want to read. I'm more keen to his work on X-Factor then this nonsense that filled these pages. 

I've never been much of a fan or enjoyed reading the relationship between She-Hulk and Jazinda. Jazinda's character is one I could definitely go without. I don't feel anything for her which makes it hard to enjoy a series when you don't care much for the characters involved in it. 

The art has two different styles. One is by Vincenzo Cucca and the other by Steve Scott. Both are fairly nice. Cucca's work has a more lighter and softer tone too it while Scott's is a little more darker. 

I can't say I'm sad this series was canceled. It's never really impressed me much or managed to spark excitement within me. Most of She-Hulk's adventures have been sort of ridiculous in my opinion. I would be open to reading a new series with her as long as the creative team was good and the premise for the series was actually worth creating. In my opinion this isn't the way to showcase your female superheroes if you want them to be taken seriously. She-Hulk has potential to be one of the most dominant female characters, but that will fall on Marvel to push her to that status. This She-Hulk series was far from sensational.
