    Saga has not disappointed

Saga has easily been my favorite series for the last 5 months. I never expect anything less than greatness when Brian K. Vaughn is writing and he has not disappointed me yet.

With a ceiling so high eventually my expectations would fall flat and in this issue it did just that. For the first time ever I think Saga was just "ok". Just being "ok" works for a lot of series but not for Saga. I feel like Saga belongs in another league so I hold it to higher expectations.

Like every issue before it Chapter 6 builds upon the previous ones but this slow crawl is starting to feel like a complete STOP. I love the fact that we get see all these different types of characters and worlds but the big issue here is where is Saga going? Now that the first arc is complete I am having hard time thinking about what I would love to see next.

Chapter 6 does create overlying issues for all the main characters including Robot Prince IV but are they interesting enough to get me to continue reading? I would have to say "yes" because this issue was just wrapping up an amazing first arc. I believe that just like first arc the second one will come with the superior writing we have grown accustomed to.

The art in this issue was spot-on and I really do not expect anything less from Fiona Staples at this point. I really feel like she is a hidden jewel when it comes to artists within the industry. Fiona Staples' panels are so good you want to frame them. I have to recommend this issue for 2 reasons; one is for closure within the first arc and two, for the epic drawing styles of Fiona Staples.
