@bjparks: Exactly. It'll be like saying that video games causes people to be violence, when really, the whole issue on why some viewers (who play games) act violently is much more complicated/complex than that.

@dedpool: I'm thinking if g2, right out of the gate, mentioned that, "Bendis' writing makes black people look stereotypical which make make it seem like black people are that way to racists, in turn making the racists more racist." I could understand the sentiment....if Bendis actually did that. If anything, this person should either be sort of upset with the whole "I don't want to be Black Spider-Man, I want to be Spider-Man" sentence Bendis made Miles say or not place blame on fictional chars of color for what racists would say or do, but place it on some creators instead like Bendis (at least), if not also acknowledging that maybe they're wrong and figured that racists will act more racist no matter what you do (or don't do) and that characters like Miles might as well continue to still be around since it's not going to change much anyway.

I agreed with the point you had mentioned before. Milestone Comics (the company) had been successful before. It could end up that way again (even if the Milestone characters DO end up in their own universe as another starting point on the road to possible success).
