Taki

 Taki stood with her hands folded gazing out at the facility in front of them, they had entered, from a far way drop point, however they was picked up by Snipers, using her experience as well as quick thinking, Sarah commanded Bright eye to make short work of the gunmen. Both Taki and Prima ducked around MR, trying to gain cover. After a while she saw that her teams were a very capable bunch of she sat back as they cleared the area. Not long after the fighting end, Nova, Mr and Tisumea, headed off to locate the Uranium tanks. Bright eye, Dawn and Charge, headed off to handle their business as well. She wasn’t exactly sure how she was doing at this leading, but after seeing what these girls can do she was ever more confident about doing so. However after looking around for a few seconds she noticed Prima, standing looking aimlessly, like herself. “I know it’s boring right now…would have been much easier of Stella, went with them… and she blew a kiss at me remind me to detach her limbs and beat her senseless.” Taki said writing it down in her Notebook. It didn’t take but a while for Prima herself to go off in search of a Generator, leaving Taki to herself.

She stood standing in the cold Georgia night air as all her team mates were off doing a duty that could seriously get them hurt; she had no relationship with any of the newer ones, but she just might be devastated if one of them got injured on her watch. From off in the distance she could see Prima shutting down the farthest generator, a smirk crept across her face which was soon followed by her trademark blunt look. She herself was kicked off LOVE before Prima, joined the first time but it was great to watch her in action.

“This is Gwen to Taki come in” her comlink started to go off, Taki was so reluctant to answer it but, finally she did. “Taki here what’s up?”

“How’s everything going down there” Taki looked around, hearing distant fire, but nothing overly noticeable. “What you can’t see us?” she responded trying to get Gwen off the phone as now Prima was returning. “No….I can’t….Have your breast gotten bigger?” Taki glanced down at her chest and then back her link; and decided to end the conversation.

“Alright Prima, good job, let’s wait for the power pack to finish their task, then we can take them together” Prima nodded, then tossed her what seemed to be a core. “A Core reactor?” Prima nodded than continued.

I took out one henchman and one generator, that don’t leave us much time before they figure out what’s going on.   However, that, she pointed to the core she tossed her, is what was essentially powering the machine.   I thought it might prove beneficial it’s frozen right now, but not damaged, there’s no telling what type of power is in there and when we could use it.

Taki glanced out seeing that another Generator had been taken down, in the direction that Bright eye flew off in, which left two more left.  Taki stood up holding the Reactor core in her hands and noticed the brand name “Stark industries huh…” She was familiar with his technology however; she had never met Tony Stark himself.

“Hey Taki look” Prima called to her, holding a laptop in hand. “So here are where the other henchman is located.   One of these rooms might have enough info to get to the boss. I’m thinking we need to quickly take down these generators, but also at the same time make a move on advancing towards the boss.   If we take all the generators down at once he might go on the offense, and the element of surprise will be diminished. “

“Yeah I know, I’m pretty sure he knows something  is up already, but he won’t go anywhere as long as he thinks his shield generator is standing, he’ll stay in that tower.”

Taki looked back up and saw that the last two generators had come down; she touched her Comlink, again messaging into Brighteye, Charge Up, and Dawn. “Nice work girls, I and Prima are going ahead, Bright eye, keep a lookout on the area. Dawn and Charge meet us in the main room.”

Taki slipped her mask on then quickly dashed out towards the main building. “The main door is locked…”   Prima scooted Taki out the way, and then removed her laptop again, disabling the auto lock doors. Taki just looked at her for a moment, with a grin and then proceeded into the building.

No sooner than the door opened the were met with a barrage of gun fire, ducking back behind the outside threshold, she removed a smoke bomb and tossed it. The room quickly began to be covered in a veil of smoke, Prima raised the earth up so they could be protected by an earth shield, the quickly made their way inside and Taki took out all the gunmen.   “Alright let’s go get him” Glancing at the front entrance, both Charge and Dawn at made it to the facility. “Good wo-“ Taki couldn’t finish her Sentence, cause a huge man beast came through the wall knocking her half way across the room. At first she lay limp, but then she managed to roll out the way. “Well what are you waiting for go find Ralph!” She snapped at the remaining members.

Rhino, charged her again fighting through her broken ribs, she leaped over him and landed behind him. “Your stance is all wrong” she said provoking him. He charged her again, Taki once again tried to flip Over him, but she was caught and smashed through the wall in the next room. “ug…heh…uh” she wasn’t strong enough to combat a foe this size, however she guessed Nova, MR and Tisu had blown up the last Generator because the ground shook. This took Rhino’s attention for a few seconds and then he placed his eyes back on Taki. He reached down and pulled her from the floor ripping her mask off in the process. “Woman with mask is a no no” he said slightly spitting on her cheek.

“Eat a d!ck” Taki, said dropping a stun grenade, which caused him to tumble backwards, holding his eyes. She ran towards him and tried to tackle him, however she just hit his hard like body and fell to the ground holding her shoulders.

“Damnit!” She said with blood coming from her arms and from her nose. She was laying face down on the floor as he walked up again, picking her up by the waste. “She quickly pulled out her Mekki Maru, and cut him right across the mouth. He spit blood all over the floor and scream out in agony, however he never fell. Taki limped over to a water hose and shot him with it, then sacrificing herself, she shoulder blocked him into a huge computer, where they both were electrocuted. She slid off of him and lay passed out on the floor.

     Taki sat at the head of the table with her hands folded and her eyes closed meditating, about events for the future and the past. Her stint in LOVE was a brief one, she had a falling out with the Ziccarra the leader of LOVE at that time, and she was replaced with the rebellious Jasmine Cole. She knew she was only a temporary leader as Gwen told her that from mission to mission the role of the leader would switch to take the pressure off one person.

Taki didn’t mind leading, she had a problem not knowing who she was leading. Her acute sense of hearing picked up what sounded like a mini explosion coming from the R&D department. She knew that these scientist were the most highly skilled scientist in the world, so the chances that they would mess something up was slim. Keeping her eyes closed she let out a small smirk, there was only one person who was able to make the most intelligent people feel stupid. “Nova…” she said once again letting out a soft sigh. However her inner focus and reminiscing was interrupted by a sharp poke to the face.

The Ninja’s eyes quickly darted open, and let off a devilish glare to see Nova standing directly in her face. “It is you!” she screamed hugging the Ninja; Taki was a tad thrown back but she allowed it for a second and then pushed Nova off of her. “Since when has touching ever been allowed?” She watched as Nova took a seat smiling while she walked to her chair, then threw on her tough girl demeanor when she turned back around.

Nova and Taki had a long history, that actually wasn’t filled with much events, Taki hated Ziccarra, while Nova befriended her. Despite their relationship with the alien the two had remained close friends, whenever Taki was around anyway. Taki’s ears picked up the sound of someone else walking down the hall ways, she couldn’t hear the clatter of the massive heels, which means it wasn’t Gwen, Glancing at the door, a woman whom she had never saw in her life strolled through, she didn’t really say anything, Taki took one look and figured she was alien by nature; giving off a smug look Taki went back to meditating.

A scientist was called over the loud speaker, However the noise never broke her concentration, She figured no one wanted to talk to each other, maybe they had there own insecurities but Taki wasn’t going to force them to speak. A thought quickly penetrated her membrane so she felt free to speak it. “Nova I heared about your demon…if it rears it’s head I’ll remove it from your shoulders”. She was a demon hunter, so she hoped Nova knew she wasn’t playing.

Right before Taki, finished her sentence a Blonde walked right past her and sat down, She raised an eyebrow and then chuckled, still not saying anything. Looking out at the Team, it was herself, a Blonde, Feral Nova, and An Alien, the team was already looking like the original love with basically the same components, although there was no one that was going to replace Angelic reaper. Sitting in her chair and placing her feet up on the table she leaned back getting lost in thought, that is until she heard the sound of yet another woman.

Taki only slightly turned her head, taking a glance however she then had to do a double take to see if the person standing in the door way was actually there. Sarah Lockhart, unknown to Sarah; Taki had been trying for years to escape her technology, and sure enough it was Lockhart’s dowsing machine that helped Gwen find Taki in Japan, she had a few words, but once again, she kept her mouth closed. Directly after her two more girls strolled in, The New love had the old Love beat as far as team members. Taki watched the other girls watch her, it was almost embarrassing, she felt like she was the geeky kid in the shower, that everyone picked with even though no one said anything.

A loud bang came from Taki and a huge flat screen Tv descended from the wall, no long after it stopped Gwen appeared on the Screen. Taki once again folded her hands. Gwen could be seen in a dark room that head what looked like a mascot fixated behind her.

“Are you in a school?” Taki asked a bit weirded out, Gwen nodded and got right down to business. Pulling up a map she pointed to what looked like a chemical plant in the country of Georgia.

“The BPRD satellites have picked up a Strange signal coming from the country of Georgia, It seems that a wealthy business man named Ralph Welimener has a facility on the far side of the country. Sources indicate that he has been producing Uranium, the Key element in the dirty bomb project. There are four Generators being, operated by members of the Iniative, Super powered, these generators have to come down before you guys can enter the facility or you’ll be spotted. Oh and Sarah… Thanks” Gwen said smiling and then disappearing.

Taki looked around at the girls and then smiled. “Oh…Kay” glancing around she walked over to the desk and pulled up a virtual map of Georgia.  “Ok looks like our first objective is taking out these Generators“. Glancing at Dawn, Brighteye and Charmix, she started instructing. “Ok us three will take out these Generators, I think it’d be pretty quick and easy, and besides I mean with Nova’s clumsiness Ray Charles could spot her.”

She then turned to Nova and then to MR, “You two can destroy the Uranium Tanks, but you’ll have to act quick, because it Ralph hears the commotion he’ll flee” Taki glanced at everyone. “Is your orders clear?” Turning around and locking eyes with Nova. “Okay..to the jet”

About one Month ago, Fuma-No –Sato Japan

Once on the ground, her heels sunk in the thick mud, which made her turn her face, but she would not be deterred from the reason she came.“You know I’m here, so just come on out!” Gwen awaited her host but she got no answer.

“Gwen would you like to tell me what you’re doing down there…” a message came from her headset, from Jennifer.   “Well I want to place my full time in the BRPD, but I can’t run it while running L.O.V.E, I’m pretty sure Nova won’t do it, but this girl will; a long time ago L.O.V.E was only made of Four people, Sha, Feral Nova, AR, and Taki. I’m pretty sure Taki can lead L.O.V.E while I’m away, she’s also a known relic hunter.”

“Nice to see you speak so highly of me” Gwen turned to see the crafty Ninja with her hands on her hips. Gwen gave a smirk, but quickly getting down to business.

“L.O.V.E needs a leader, Nova won’t do it and I’m simply too old to hang with you young girls, yes or no my time is precious?”

The Ninja gave a smile and then shook her head yes, the bamboo tree’s were propelled by the wind, as they smacked each other the sound that resonated resembled a clap. Gwen handed Taki a paper with some coordinate attached. “That’s your new home, I must be going now” walking over to the spot in which she had came, she was taken by Taki’s statement.

“I’m sure your return has nothing to do with the disappearance of the Infinity Gems…” Gwen smiled before disappearing in white light.

“Not your concern, little one, not your concern.” The woman disappeared in a light leaving Taki on the ground. The Ninja glanced down at the paper, suddenly thousands of feelings were rushing back to her feelings she thought she lost. : Heading back to her hut she grabbed her travel back and started west to the Yellow River, from there she was heading to the United States. The last time Taki had been remotely close to L.O.V.E was when A.R died all those years ago.

She had returned to fight Nova for the KOV championship but she failed in doing so. Not wanting to live in the comforts of the city life again she moved back to Japan, where she honed her fighting skills and changed into a overall good person.

Present.

Walking around the new L.O.V.E HQ she found pictures of herself with the old team, a smile quickly crept across her face, but vanished when she saw Ziccarra’s Tomb. She was never informed of her death, so seeing this was a huge shock to her. She and Ziccarra were not friends in the least bit but they had a mutual respect for each other. The new office was truly unbelievable, hidden by the igneous Grand Canyon structure it was in the perfect place; strategically.

Hundreds of people were running back and forth in lab coats, doing experiments and running test, “Same old L.O.V.E” she said with her hands folded leaning on the wall. Catching a glimpse of “New Ninjeta” in the background, she knew it would take some time getting used to the elaborate and hidden city. Ending the tourism she walked into Gwen’s room and sat in a chair, Gwen appeared on the T.V screen smiling, she was in space somewhere. Taki leaned back in the chair with her hands folded smiling.

“Last time I was here you were pimping us out to ole, Timbo, come to think of it last time I was IN here you were replacing me with Jasmine Cole…Look how that turned out.” Taki and Gwen had a past that went deeper than anyone knew, but the true reason the two were always at odds, was because Taki’s father was killed trying to save Gwen, right before she was born.

“I’ve made my mistakes Taki, I know that, but I do need you…The team will be here shortly, go to them and I’ll brief you ASAP” Getting up she walked down to “The heart of L.O.V.E” room and awaited her new Love team.
