What voices do you hear in your head when you read certain characters?
A couple of mine:
Batman: I usually have two different voices for Batman. When I read more classic Batman, like pre-1980, I hear Nic Cage's "Big Daddy" voice in my head, but for more modern Batman, I hear a mixture of Christian Bale and Kevin Conroy.
Superman:Tim Daly.
Spider-Man:Usually Josh Keaton, sometimes a bit of Christopher Daniel Barnes for older Spider-Mans.
Round 2, peeps! This time we're taking a look at an Official Life Facts video (and the BS that within it)

I personally don't watch current WWE (cuz it's terrible) but I love the classics. The Attitude Era, the actual superstars, the blood... oh the blood....
Anyways, I feel like these two sounds defined the era, so it begs the question: Which is more iconic?
I've already spoken of my dislike of Humberto Ramos's god awful art, but I find his art straight up bad. In my opinion the most overrated artist is David Finch. His art isn't bad, per se, it's just not that great to me. Alot of people actually like his art, but to me it's just really... dirty. He's honestly like the opposite of Humberto Ramos, style wise, but has similar problems. His art is very grainy, and everyone looks overly muscular. Nobody looks like a normal human being in his art.
Superman. The beginning of comics (and he'll probably be the end, if an end ever comes to comic books), an American icon, a global icon! Whether it be him picking up a car and smashing it on a rock (for... some reason) or flying through space and smiling at nothing as he hovers over the globe, Superman's powers have been a template for superheroes as much as the character himself.
But what if Superman never got his power upgrades? What if Superman was never able to fly, or see through walls, or shoot laser out of his eyes? What if he were to forever leap tall buildings instead of soar over them?
Well first of all we can safely assume that he wouldn't be nearly as popular as he is now. For one, some other hero would get the power to fly and shoot heat vision and would run Superman into the ground. And without Superman, Batman would be less popular because Batman was meant to contrast Superman. But they'd be so similar that Batman would just seem like a weak Superman. Also, the Flescher cartoons would be less popular because he would never be able to just fly, so the animators would have a more difficult time animating him, so the cartoons would be produced slower and *deep breath* Superman would be less popular.
For the stories, those could go multiple ways but it's safe to assume that his stories would stay "grounded" (pun very much intended). Though, Batman was meant to be normal and he ended up fighting gorillas and going to space... so... maybe not.
