I like how their holding him up after he ripped Ares in half and destroyed Asgard.

He may be dead for now but we all must remember death can easily be cheap in the Comics....I can't see sentry being dead forever but for now I am glad he's gone.It's a shame though.I can't help but feel sorry for him....But his death was necessary since he's one of the hugest threats in marvel and plus he is annoying as hell.

read the fall of sentry issue. liked it more than how seige ended...although the last few pages were a f*** yeah moment for me. better funeral issue than most ive seen in a while

I really wanted to like the Sentry, but it seems like they forced him into one too many things for no reason without properly developing him as a character. 
Still, it's sad to see such potential ended before it was realized.

I was waiting for the funeral to end with the sun setting and sentry shows up purified from being dipped into the sun or something.

I was so very disappointed when Thing went into the "I hated him... BUT" bit. I was really hoping someone would speak some sense in this issue. I guess those characters that would have didn't make it. Also, Rogue having a relationship with Sentry (and the nature of their relationship) = ridiculous and stupid. So was her breakdown, Rogue is stronger than that. The whole issue felt incredibly forced, because these characters are talking about touching moments that we never knew about, which are being fabricated specifically for this issue and the purpose of making the Sentry look like a sympathetic character. It tries to tug at your heartstrings with fond memories of times that never were. At least he's finally dead. Hopefully he stays that way forever.

Like most comic deaths, I can see him coming back in some form. I think Sentry is actually better suited for more of Cosmic Marvel though. Another possibility is "Sentry" coming back but its not the same character. I think though they will leave him dead for a long time, longer than some of the other recent deaths. I am sure they will revisit him in the future but it is good that he is tabled for now.

seriously i just read a Q&A about Siege #4 and i've got one question. After reading the Q&A given below and looking at the given scans, can someone please explain to me how Sentry was lying about having the powers of Molecule Man?
 
 

In this scene, Thor finally ends the threat of the Void AKA Bob Reynolds by killing him. It seems like when you consider the Void's power level, the only way this could have happened was because the Void wanted to die.

I see there is a lot of online speculation about that, and I thought it was pretty clear. I don't like to over analyze these things. I prefer the work to speak for itself, but I'll put two things out there.

I think we've all met crazy people in our lives, and I think you learn pretty quickly that when you're dealing with a crazy person, you can't trust what they're saying to be true. Just because the Sentry/The Void announced that he had the power of the Molecule Man, it doesn't mean that he actually did. He just thought that he did. He was a crazy person and maybe a drug addict, as the character's creator, Paul Jenkins, put out there. So not everything he was saying wasn't necessarily true. Maybe it was. Maybe it wasn't. I know that's difficult for some people, because when they read a story, they don't want to feel like they're being fucked with. That character, though, was not in control of himself. There wasn't one second throughout the run of "Dark Avengers" where he was in control of himself.

Number two, yes, Bob realized that things had gone as far as they could possibly go. There was no other end for him and without his cooperation he doesn't go away. I just didn't want to have a line in the script where someone like Spider-Woman goes, "Boy, if he didn't want us to kill him, we couldn't have killed him." I see a lot of people got it, though, or they were just so happy to see the Sentry die they didn't give a shit how it happened [Laughs].

i know this is 7 months late, but is the sentry coming back? he kinda sucked at the end, but i thik he could have been built into a really awesome character. i think if he is brought back without the void and a new attitude, he could be really cool! and i have to admit i like his costume over superman's, it just looks cooler to me
