Why use a scan of DCnU Superman and then say "pre flashpoint"? Perplexes me, it does.

Clarification: His ability to absorb energy is temporarily weakened when his temperature reaches absolute zero. In that state he survived a beating by Midnighter in a super suit and managed to wreck the suit with an eye blast.

I realize this my point was it severely weakens his ability to his energy absorption, I wasn't implying it to be an instant win(I realize that's how it came off however) Just that it's a fairly large advantage for Supes.
