McFadden's Saloon, located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter in Downtown San Diego, will be hosting events all week in honor of the annual Comic Con convention. We’re calling all freaks and geeks to dawn their superhero costumes and join us for the WILDEST Comic Con afterparties.
Our doors will open to all of our Comic Con friends at 11 AM all week.
Tuesday, July 16th and Wednesday, July 17th: McFadden's teams up with Almost Famous Karaoke to bring you Nerdioke. Karaoke will begin at 9 PM.
Thursday, July 18th: McFadden’s is proud to announce their partnership with GamerLabz as they host a retro video game free play tournament! Come enjoy some old school classics from 6 PM-9 PM. Starting at 9 PM, McFadden’s will open up their school for Inebriated Youngsters. We’re calling all traditional super heroes for a night of old-school drinking, including a $20 open bar from 9p-11p and a $100 costume contest.
Friday, July 19th: McFadden’s and Chive-On San Diego will be hosting a Chive.com unofficial meet-up benefiting ChiveCharities.org. Doors will open at 7:00p, but patrons are urged to arrive early. 100% of door proceeds and raffle ticket sales will be donated to Chive Charities, and a portion of McFadden’s signature KCCO shots will contribute to the cause as well! Keep Calm, Chive On and Get McFaded! Special guest appearance by the XX Girls! These Cosplay icons love talking nerdy to their fans, and are major contributors to the Geek Culture. Patrons are invited to join them in a night of drinking, video gaming, and good times!
Saturday, July 20th: Ending off the weekend with a bang, McFadden’s announces a Nightmare on Fifth Street! In play with the Zombie Run event at Petco Park and to pay homage to the Walking Dead- join them for a night of horrific fun!
