When my computer was not working. I had use my old broken one. I read comics that where on that computer. the purpose was my research of finding the Greatest villain in comics. In reality there were not just one villain but many for number 1. The greatest villain means the ultimate threat for the hero. The Joker and Luthor may seem like the ultimate threat. In reality they are placed on the list for being Iconic.These villains are not triple threat like Dr.Doom, or a sociopath mad scientist like Mr. Sinister. Joker is a sociopath and a nihilist. He is not a psychopath, keep this in mind.He is more like a crazy fox. People argue that Joker killed more people, and his methods. Let me remind you that Mandarin used a bomb that killed half a million people in one issue, before Joker destroyed Metropolis in Injustice. The death toll Joker killed is over 2000, while Punisher killed 4000. Darkseid, Brainiac,Red Skull, Nekron are few examples that have highest causes of deaths in comics.

Joker is entire purpose is Batman. If someone kills batman, or that batman gives up being a hero. Joker is defeated. joker has no purpose except for Batman. Case and point will be the dark Knight returns will be an example of that.

Who I think is the greatest villain(s) in comics.

One example will be Lobo.
