Flight of the Father

A Flying Fat Man in Red

No Caption Provided

As Rider arrives at the outskirts of [REDACTED] he can't help but notice two figures, standing opposed. They seem tensed, almost gearing for a fight before their attention turns to you. You were sent to locate [REDACTED], but you weren't expecting to run into others so soon. No matter, he had a job and he will see to it. It was time for The Saint's Judgment.

The Saint's Judgement

Having reached the outskirts of [REDACTED], Rider of Red finds it is time to activate his Noble Phanstasm. He is currently on a time crunch to locate [REDACTED], and while the two individuals down below manage to draw his curiosity, he is in no condition to intervene at this point in time. Instead, he opts to activate his Noble Phantasm, so that his search for [REDACTED] can be furthered.

With 'Saint's Judgement' being activated on arrival of [REDACTED], Rider has an inherent advantage when it comes to avoiding threats.

Rider doesn't need to be the immediate target of a threat for his senses to alert him that there is a present danger [1]. The moment Rider lays eyes on Millenium, he'll know that the apostle is nothing but trouble. With the early warning given from Saint's Judgement, Rider will have quite enough time to make his escape. There are many instances of it giving a heads-up to oncoming danger, allowing Rider to avoid future attacks [2] [3] [4]. It also helps both speed up and optimize his decision-making skills mid-battle, meaning that Rider will know exactly what is needed to best avoid this massive AoE attack [5] [6].

Now as to how he avoid this attack? Rider is currently on his flight-capable summon, with physical stats defined as (?/?/EX). EX agility translates to Mach 2.5 in travel speed as defined in the scenario outline.

So is a servant riding an EX Agility flight-capable summon with a sixth sense that has already alerted him to the coming danger able to get out of the range of Millenium's attack?

The cap for precognitive abilities is 5 seconds. If Rider was starting out exactly from where Millenium was stationed, it would take roughly 3.6 seconds for him to travel outside the range of the AoE. If you take the 300 meters distance already between the two into account, it becomes 3.3 seconds. So it seems there is more than enough time to make some distance between himself and Millenium. There is also very little argument to be made of Rider taking time to make his decision.

5 seconds may seem like a small time frame, but if summons are following the old scenario rules, then a servant while on his summon matches the reaction speed of the summons Agility Rank. For Agility EX that is a reaction speed of Mach 200. Not only is this already a ridiculous level of speed, but add on the fact that Saint's Judgement makes time viewed even slower, while also optimizing the decision-making for its user.

Even if Riding Summons do not follow the old scenario rules, Rider's Agility is atleast rank D, which provides combat speed of Mach 5 and reaction speed of Mach 30. Even without the help from Saint's Judgement, 5 seconds to someone with Mach 5 combat speed and Mach 30 reaction speed is nearly forever.

Slinking Away

Rider doesn't want to be followed by Millenium. As such he's opted to hide under the Cloak of the Night. On top of standard invisibility [1], Cloak also makes one's presence undetectable to the point that one doesn't acknowledge their existence [2]. Sight, smell, sound, and even physical contact don't clue you in as to where a person under the Cloak is!

This ability was capable of making its user undetectable to Gon, who has a bunch of decent feats when it comes to sensory and detection.

On top of this, he is also able to detect individuals that have imperfect zetsu [3]. Zetsu is the technique to hide one's aura, and conceals your presence [4].

So to summarize, the Cloak not only grants standard invisibility, it also conceals your presence to the point that physically touching someone doesn't even clue them into the fact that you are there. Said someone already has several good feats when it comes to detecting the presence of others, and despite that has no clue he was in physical contact with the person using the Cloak.

Summary

  • Rider was already planning to use Saint's Judgement to locate [REDACTED]. The interception of these two individuals doesn't do much to change that.
  • Saint's Judgement warns Rider of the danger that Millenium presents, and warns of the upcoming attack.
  • With his EX Agility summon, Rider escapes the AoE of Millenium's attack, with Saint's Judgement advising him as to when he is in the safe zone.
  • Rider activates his summons Noble Phantasm, 'Cloak of the Night', before disappearing and heading further inwards towards [REDACTED].
  • Saint's Judgement will most likely pick up information about what is happening in [REDACTED], which will be detailed, possibly(?), in a post in the thread relevant to [REDACTED]
