Wow...I just realized...my character's power is moonlight...but it's just reflected sunlight. F#CK!
Now I need to figure that out....
"Name: Amanda Blow (Don't say it slowly)
Occupation: Dancer
Affiliation: Neutral
Powers: Can Talk To The Dead."
Name: Rafe Winchester
Occupation: Student
Affiliation: Good
Power: Moonlight
Seff's body is built much like a human plant. His cells contain a rather peculiar celllar body that acts much like chloroplast in plants. Rather than converting sunlight, he converts moonlight into energy, both literal energy and physical energy. He needs it to survive as much as he does food and water. The moonlight is used to power his body, and he can also fire off short bursts of moonlight.
Hope that's plausible enough.
Oh, and the last name may be subject to change...still screwing around with it.
Cryo stared in horror at the mass of fur behind Cham. His eyes quickly adjusted to the light, and he could see it clearer. He couldn't tell whether that was a good or bad thing. It towered over Cham, its eyes demonic and its drool disgusting. Cryo was too scared to move. Even more than fear for himself, he feared for his friend two inches away from the beast. That, coupled with the burning smell of smoke and brimstone that was its scent, and The Wolf's incessant nagging to be released, wasn't very good. You know what to do, pipsqueak. The Wolf growled. He pulled at the mental chains that bound him, causing a slight headache. Cryo breathed heavier as the Hellhound reared back. Do it! The Wolf continued.
The Hellhound tore it Cham, and Cryo immediately growled and crouched down instinctively, his tail wagging in frustration. Do it now! The Wolf roared, pounding inside his head. "No, I can handle this!" Cryo argued, getting up and running for the hound. The hound ripped off Cham's arm mercilessly, blood pouring out onto the steel floor. "Argh!" Cryo groaned, falling to his knees mid-stride. He clutched his head in agony, feeling The Wolf's protest. The smell of blood sent The Wolf into a frenzy, doubling his efforts to escape. Cryo doubled over, holding himself up with one hand and clutching his heart with the other as he breathed heavily. The anger that he felt towards the hellhound pulsed as did his pounding heart. Cryo could feel his anger being magnified by some unknown power, the same he felt before, and the same that fully released The Wolf mentally. It may not have been so in the beginning, but by now, the longer he stayed on the planet, the more The Wolf freed himself. Mentally, he had escaped, but Cryo's ring was the only thing keeping him from taking over Cryo's body. Cryo didn't know what was having such an effect on him, but it skyrocketed his anger towards the hellhound. A slowly rising growl escaped his throat, only to be cut off when Cryo looked up abruptly atthe sound of Cham's voice.
“Scott....ern.... Scott.... you’re the only one who can beat this thing. I’ll be fine.... I need... I need to find.... Paragon.”
"No..." Scott whispered, seeing Cham move for the door clutching his arm. He shook his head, trying to rid his head of both Cham's suggestion and The Wolf's howls.
Scott looked up to see the Hellhound look up from devouring Cham's arm, and heard it growl after seeing him walk off. "No..." He whispered again, as the hound stood on its feet and began to run for Cham. It's now or never! The Wolf screamed, and Cryo slammed his fist to the ground. He leaped up, pulling the claddagh ring from his finger as he did so. In mid-air, his fur ran black, his tattoos darkened, and his eyes changed from blue to red.
"NO!" The hellhound leaped for Cham, but was intercepted by Cryo's still-changing form. His cry started as his own voice, but morphed into a deeper voice mixed with growls.
The Wolf flipped back from the hound, glancing back to see Cham flee through the door. With a growl, he looked back to the hound, just now getting up. It shook itself and sniffed, noticing the change of scent. The Wolf stood straight, flexing his fists and admiring his body. "That's right, mutt." The Wolf's voice was deeper and growling, different when uttered from Cryo's lips. "Lizard's not on the menu tonight. Not on my watch." The Hellhound roared and charged for The Wolf, who roared back. The two clashed, The Wolf holding the hound back as it snapped inches away from his face. Wolf snarled as he threw the hound to the side, leaping on top of its stomach while it was still stunned. The Wolf began rapidly slashing at the fur, ripping some off and digging down into the flesh. The hellhound yelped, latching its jaw around the Wolf's shoulder and flinging him off.
The Wolf cursed as he felt the wound on his should, staggering up to face the hellhound. Wolf sniffed his claws, the hellhound's bood still wet on them, and licked the sweet nectar as the Hellhound growled. The taste of blood set the Wolf's senses aflame, his pupils bulging. The hellhound's haunches raised and it charged The Wolf again, roaring in anger. The Wolf waited this time, then leaped over the Hellhound onto its back. He latched himself to it, wrapping his arms around its neck. As he rode the Hellhound, The Wolf noticed something shiny dangling inbetween the fur around its neck. The Wolf grabbed it and looked it over, before simply jamming it into his pocket. Licking his lips, the Wolf bit down onto the Hellhound's ear, uttering a yelp of pain. Driven by hunger and rage, the Wolf ripped it clean off the hellhound, spitting it across the room. The hellhound stopped short, pawing its wound, and the Wolf flipped forward, extending his claws and slashing across its snout and eyes.
As the Wolf landed, the yelp he heard told him he'd scratched its eyes out. He turned with a sinister grin on his face, the heat of battle spurring him forward. The hellhound ran blindly, pawing and slashing all the while. The Wolf grabbed it with his claws and threw it in a short burst of strength, slamming it into the wall. The Wolf quickly leaped over to the hellhound, who was now whimpering against the wall it had hit, tailed curled closely. Its whimpers drove the Wolf onward, drunken with power. The hound looked around blindly, unable to see where it's attacker would be. Another whimper and The Wolf spoke, "There can only be One, Hound." Snarling, The Wolf went for the throat, biting down with his teeth and snapping it. He pulled back, ripping at the throat and puncturing a vein.
The Wolf mercilessly mauled the defenseless hound, not one bit of remorse in his head. When he was finished, he looked down at the mangled corpse, breathing heavily, claws dripping with blood.
"What the hell...!?" The Wolf turned quickly to see Cham in the doorway, holding his stomach. He'd barely managed to choke out the words.
The Wolf growled and turned, licking his claws. "And he was just the appetizer." The Wolf sneered, eyes set on Cham. Suddenly, he clutched his head, falling to his knees. his next movements weren't his own, as each looked to be struggled. He reached into his pocket and slipped on the Claddagh Ring. The Wolf shot his head up, and his eyes flashed from red to blue quickly. "I can't hold him off! Get the metal from my pocket!" Cryo's voice rang out through the chamber, then his eyes flashed back to Red and he stopped shaking. The Wolf stood up, cracking his neck. "Your ring won't hold me down this time, pup. And you're friend's about to be wolf chow!" With a snarl he ran for Cham, who instinctively rolled out of the way. He turned to face The Wolf, who punched forward.
Cham parried his blow and sent his own to The Wolf, who caught it in his fist. He pulled Cham forward, punching him across the jaw. Cham spun, but used it to his advantage, spinning around and sending a roundhouse kick to The Wolf. The Wolf kneeled, clutching his chest. Cham ran for him, grabbing one of his arm's and flipping over him, pinning the arm behind his back. The Wolf roared. Cham had to be careful. This monstrosity was in his friend's body, and he couldn't risk harming Cryo. Having successfully pinned The Wolf Cham looked through the various holsters on Cryo's belt until he found the sheet of silver he'd cut from the robot. The Wolf leaned forward and kicked back, sending Cham flying into the nearby wall, still clutching the silver sheet.
The Wolf stood, recirculating his arm and walking toward Cham. His eyes widened and his nostrils flared at the scent of Silver. "I'm gonna eat you real slow now, Kermit." He growled running for Cham, his jaw dropped in a roar. Cham, anger plain on his face, stood and punched forward into the Wolf's open mouth. The Wolf clamped his teeth down onto Cham's wrist, drawing blood. Despite the pain, The Wolf noticed Cham smirk. The Wolf swallowed to lap up the blood, but what he swallowed was too sharp and hard to be blood. He let go and stumbled back, feeling a burning sesation travel down his throat into his stomach. He clutched his belly as he roared in pain. His fur completely receded, as did his tail into his spine. His claws shortened as did his teeth. He stood in human form, with hair darker then Cryo's normal human hair, and eyes as black as night. I'm in control now! Cryo yelled mentally at the Wolf. The Wolf gritted his teeth and shut his eyes as his hair lightened to Cryo's normal color. When he opened his eyes, they were Cryo's normal brown.
Weak, Cryo fell to his knees, fumbling around in his pockets for his glasses. "Dude!" Cham yelled, running over just as Cryo slipped on his glasses to see clearly. "How did you do that!?" Cham helped Cryo up, supporting him under his arms. Cryo, powerless from The Wolf's takeover, leaned into Cham for support as they shuffled for the exit.
"The Wolf," Cryo coughed before continuing, "is allergic to silver. But, somehow, I knew my claddagh ring wouldn't seal him away, not on this planet. It only let me break out for a moment to tell you what to do. The only other silver I had was the piece from the robot. By forcing the Wolf to swallow it, the silver entered our system."
"And because of that, you reverted back to human form!" Cham concluded.
Cryo nodded, coughing once more. "Precisely. The Wolf is stronger in wolf form, but I'm stronger in human fom, so I took control from there. The only downside: I can't transform now for a while." Cryo and Cham stood at the hole in the wall, staring down at the ground.
"Here, get on my back." Cham said, slipping Cryo around his neck. Cryo didn't fight it, he was too weak too. Cham descended the side of the building lithely, touching down by Icebird and running into it. Cham set Cryo in a chair and looked to the wound on his shoulder. "Holy Crap!"
Dragon Cryo-Wolf, allow me to attend to your wound.
"Not now, Computer."
Icebird.
"Whatever."
Groaning, Cryo took out his water and bended it over the wound, glowing blue. The wound began to heal, and as it did, Cryo's strength returned.
"Jesus!" Cryo looked up to see a woman he'd never seen before, but could smell Paragon's scent on her. She must've been with them. She ran over to attend the wound, but Cryo waved her off.
The wound sucked up the last bit of water, and Cryo stood up shakily. "I'm fine." He mumbled, smiling slightly. He wound his shoulder, feeling it to be healed. "Thanks, though." He noted that she was wearing one of Surreal's suits, but that she also had a collar around her neck. "Aren'tcha gonna take that off?"
Device needs a key for removal. Any other venue ensures immediate death to the wearer. Icebird said.
"A key..." Cryo trailed, raising an eyebrow. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the shiny object the Wolf had taken earlier, and, upon inspection, he held it up, showing its key-shape. "Like this?"
"That must be it!" The woman said.
Cryo stepped forward, nodding. "Ma'am." He said politely before walking around to the keyhole in the collar. Upon turning the key, the collar fell from the woman's neck and into Cryo's hands.
"Thanks." The woman smiled before turning back to the tower. "But Paragon just left to look for the key."
"D'Oh!," Cryo and Cham sounded in unison. Cryo fell to one of the seats and let out a breath. "Well, that's a bit too ironic."
Cryo's powers can be broken down into 3 distinct groups.
Werewolf: Cryo is a werewolf, but not a werewolf in the sense of lore. He's a synthetic werewolf, created by a machine called S.H.A.R.P.(Super Human Animal Remolecularization Pod)
Water: Cryo is a demigod, a son of Poseidon, God of the Sea. As such, he inherits various powers accordingly.
Whale Spirit: Cryo has control over the animal manifestation of his spirit.
Ta-Da!
