Azula wins Round 2, Ming-Hua and especially Ghazan lack the mobility and speed to evade her consistently and the power to do anything against her here, the latter should lose in less than a minute with ming following shortly after. Zaheer is the only one that can keep her in a fight with his flight evading her attacks but he lacks the power or skill to really do anything to her, and he would eventually fall if he has to keep engaging her in a fight.

Unfortunately for the avatar family Bumi II and Kya are weaklinks, Aang and Katara should be able to defeat any member of the white lotus, Tenzin can also give them a hard fight, but Bumi II would lose to anyone of them and kya is inferior to all the benders of the white lotus.

That being said, It really does depend on the matchup, there are instances where Aang's family would win, an example is the one given above (comment #5), there are also matchups that could end with the lotus winning.

I don't think book 1 mako has done anything...

2. We've already discussed Mako vs Ming above, he defeated her by outsmarting her and taking advantage of her weakness, not by being better than her.

I don't think book 1 mako has done anything to put him above kirima, most of his feats were against his fellow low level probenders and he lost every real fight in that season. He can't low- diff or even win against a master waterbender.

Sypha wins this, rezaren has the versatility but he's not even nearly as good of a fighter as she is.

Azula would win against Zaheer, she's a stronger and more skilled bender and can keep up with anything he does.

Ming-Hua would win against Tylee, Tylee could evade some of her attacks but she has no way of getting to ming who is just as agile but enhanced with bending, Tylee would eventually get dominated.

Mai against Ghazan depends on who is able to use their advantage first/better in the fight, I think Mai has faster attack and reaction, if she could pin him before he strikes or dodge his attack and follow up with hers before he could properly defend against it, then she can win, if Ghazan is able to continuously defend against her attacks with Earth though, and starts using his lavabending for direct and environmental attacks then Mai might not be able to keep up and he can win.

Zuko should be able to defend against some of Pli's lower level attacks, he won't be able to handle her high ends though and she would overpower him with that.

Red lotus wins the group fight, between combustion explosions, aerial attacks, lavabending the environment, and an opponent that's hard to pin, Azula's team would be overwhelmed.

Team 1 should win this.

They're all better benders than Tenzin and Azula would beat him.
