Antonio Lombardi was born an experiment. A solider of its kind. A Vampire. A creation, to be used by Vampires to reclaim control of the surface world, which was once theirs centuries ago. Of the many memories long forgot of Antonio Mancini, the memory remembered best were the feelings of pain and suffering. With every hero, comes a story. Thus the Spurs story begins.
On May 14th, 1993, the ashes of Vlad the Impaler, "Dracula", were stolen at an auction in Southern Italy, by a man by the name of Otis Otis. Otis, along with few others, were Vampires... bloodsucking, flesh eating Vampires. They were living secretly in large catacombs under New York City.
Otis returned from Italy with the ashes, and was rewarded with the opportunity of becoming apart of the city's " Vampire Council". After two months of constant research, Vampire scientists were able to use the ashes to create a clone of Dracula. The scientists also altered the DNA, making it so that the clone would have extraordinary Vampire powers, as well as an immunity to sunlight, and immunity to many other weaknesses. The altering also caused the clone to age normally, become mortal but with rock hard skin, and have almost no craving for blood.
After naming the clone Antonio Drakulya, the Vampires spent sixteen years of training him in the catacombs to become a successful warrior, he could accomplish tasks during daylight which would make the Vampires thrive in society.
On Antonio's first semi-solo mission, he fled the Vampires. He wanted to find a new way to use his powers, for the good of mankind. Antonio changed his last name to Lombardi so he wouldn't be found by the Vampires so easily, Antonio set out to Boston to become a successful hero, called the Spur.
