Damian was a great character almost from the very beginning. I don´t know how people can write that him getting sucker punched is "long overdue" and stuff like that. I guess they don´t know the character at all, otherwise they would have seen this before and probably got over their problem with this kid by now.
Then again, there are people who also want this to happen to Bruce and some other characters. Haters gonna hate I guess...
I see post-crisis and N52 Damian evolution and I never hated the character. unlike another people, he is my avatar.. I don´ t like see the hate for damian but I hate characters that other people love...
Because despite I know and see Damian past(Pre-flashpoint begin of Damian, begin of N52 Batman-Robin)....I don´t hate Damian, I've seen enough to hate the character and.. was useless..
I can understand Tim fans hate... That fight that they had and.... I guess this fact always happen with the fans of the previous robin.. and is impossible be fan of all the characters.
Although, I appreciate that N52 made him better person and now Damian is less repellent.. Robin: Son of Batman only makes me enjoy the character and his team in the comic... I don´t see any wrong in my decision if I can enjoy him..
In Robin: Son of Batman, he had 2 opportunities to die(in only 13 chapters).. Saved for the same person who wanted kill him at the beginning of the comic.
@adrikito: Rose only "won" because of the sedatives in the sprinkler system that hit Damian as he rode the bike through the neighborhood. She was disarmed immediately before Damian passed out.
No matter see Damian or Rose win.. I like both characters...
