Well that is somewhat annoying to me, and I can completely understand why lots of people are upset at DC.  If Starfire is new to Earth and Roy is young and has his arm back then DC is sort of rebooting things and saying that all these years worth of stories, stories you loved or the massive group of fans loved, never happened.  If Starfire is new to Earth that means she never was part of the Teen Titans and never dating Dick Grayson, it means that those stories that involved her like all the popular titans stories never happened, nor did 52.  That is somewhat annoying to me.  Does that mean Lois and Clark never got together?  Does that mean that anything that has happened recently will matter?  I can see why some people are upset.
I mean with that info, I guess the "tweaking" of Cyborg's origin means that they will explain how he became Cyborg and how he is a JLA hero, and never ever was a Titan.  So they are rewriting his history.
So the universe is changing, and I have heard people say not to worry, but suddenly the Titans didn't exist before Tim Drake formed them?  So the famous Marv Wolfman/George Perez stories that made Teen Titans so popular never happened?
But I may be over reacting, because I haven't actually read anything about it.  Maybe once it is released all will be explained and everyting will be cool.  Past stories that everyone loves wont be eliminated.
I should wait and see before allowing myself to get upset.
What they COULD do with MJ in Spider-Man is have her character become what Ultimate Gwen Stacey became, a close friend who knows Peter's secret.  She could try to help him, like cover up when he needs to hide his Spider-Activities.  She can talk to him about his Spider-Life.  Sort of like she left because being Spider-Man's girlfriend was too much for her, but now that they are just friends she can deal with it and help out and he can confide in her.
I would be OK with that.

I HATE the spy footage.  It annoys me so much.  You can't be surprised anymore.  And it makes things look bad because they are unfinished and maybe something that wont be in the movie anyway.  Cap's rubber fake feet, remember when they used to unveil things when the studio finally released an official photo?  Like the first image of Robin from the Batman movie?
Now I can't be surprised because everyone has a cell phone with a camera and what not.
Sad to admit I know this but Uncle Jessie sang.  He even had a music video on VH1 I think.

Its stories like the Avengers one you mentioned, stuff like that I just don't acknowledge it happened.  To me it never happened.

Jeph Loeb at some point wrote the best Batman?  Never read the Snyder run couldn't make the commitment to it and I found it hard to get into.  I am more kicking myself for not reading the last issue of Batgirl.

Marvel/Disney is starting to sound like assembly line movies, an attempt to just keep movies out for the sake of them being out.

Another Netflix plug at 1:06:59 I hope Whiskey Media is getting payed.

I think allot of people also remember Scatman Crothers as Jazz.

@HeroSupreme: That's where I got my info from the other day. Seems crazy but as long as we'll get more sometime relatively soon, it's cool with me.

@Grim: I thought about that but it wasn't completely clear. I was just let down. It was all such a great idea but it just didn't work for me.

it did kinda miss the mark for me too. the only thing that really made that story stand out at all for me was the very ending. That was some epic stuff... but the rest just seemed like it was trying (and kinda failing) to keep pace with the wacky feel of the series.

Listening to the podcast later than usual.

How could Morrison's run on Superman make any sense if he incorporated Silver Age when it's suppose to be a new reboot? I thought you made a good defense of the smiling Dick Grayson, G-Man. It also supported my vision as to why he's not Batman.
YES, way too many writers forget Batman is a detective!! Writers forgetting that has been one of my biggest issues in the series.

DC's repeat of "revamp" and not reboot just makes them look delusional. They are just afraid of the stigma and backlash that comes with the word "reboot".
Only thing I like about what is going on in Spider-man comics is that Humberto Ramos is the artist. Though I also hate that. I find that so damn tempting. I love his work. How can they give Mary Jane something to do? Also, she could never carry her own series. Damn, I haven't read Spider-man comics since OMD and even I knew Cap was wearing that stealth suit when I briefly saw the cover.

I prefer Wonder Woman when she has an outfit that has Greek design aspects. Not all the way ancient Greek, but just have the feel.

I don't watch much TV, as well. I seriously despise reality TV, and that's mostly what you find on TV now. I watch some news in to keep up with current events, but I mostly watch animes on my computer. That or I'm reading.

Spectacular Spider-man was a very well done animation. It was well written. I was pushing for Gwen Stacy in that series.
I'm willing to give Nolan's Selina Kyle (don't know about Catwoman) a chance. Nolan has earned enough good faith. I do have to agree with Babs about the female casting. She has a point. I don't put a lot of faith in some of those fan polls that list Halle Berry among the sexy Catwomen. She never played Catwoman.

John Cho who plays Sulu, was also in an episode of House MD.
I never read The Stand. Movies translated into books never really adapt well. Harry Potter worked because Rowling kept that project on a tight leash. Originally, Warner Brothers wanted the first Harry Potter movie to be the first three books condensed into the one movie. She wouldn't allow that.

Snarf should have been cut from this Thunder Cats. He worked for the era, since all series had an annoying talking animal. I haven't watched this new series yet. Though, if I fall too far behind and this is never put on HULU or something. I may never watch it. Same reason I wont get into Clone Wars. If I can't see the beginning. I'm not going to invest the time.

They are remaking Hong Kong Phooey??!!! That series was kind of racist and pretty offensive now that you look back on it.

Great podcast as usual. Just wanted to point out something about the end of the Osborn miniseries though. I'll mark it as a spoiler:

At the end of the Osborn miniseries, Norman does escape the super secret underwater prison, but then puts himself back into regular jail almost instantly. So, its hard to say how this whole Dark Avengers thing is going to work. Maybe he'll use his Goblin cult to issue orders from jail?

The Bin Laden reference in Green Lantern: Aftermath didn't bother me. It may date the book, but Bin Laden and 9/11 will be remembered much like we remember WW2 people and events. More importantly I didn't feel it was in bad taste. Now if they had used it flippantly that would be different. But he was comparing it to burying a man responsble for the deaths of many heroes in the same place as them. It was a strong comparison but not one that abused or exploited anything.

Just my take.

Another great podcast.  I really enjoy Corey on the show.   I find his knowledge of and enthusiasm for comics to be a great addition to the team. Plus I think 3 is always a better number of hosts than 2.

In host related talk, I do really miss James Robinson.
