    Familiar story with a whole new take. 0

    If you took the demon hunting/supernatural/super human aspects of many of the modern manga/anime samurai stories like a Ninja Scroll or a Samurai Champloo and threw in a small dose of Jason and the Argonauts for good measure you'd probably wind up with a comic book remarkably similar to this one.   The story of Okko and his crew as they pursue the kidnapped Geisha, Little Carp through the fictional is beautifully written and drawn by HUB, aka. Humbert Chabuel, and flawlessly translated by Edward...

    Just a Sucker for Samurai 0

    What can I say? If you write a good story with a samurai, I will most likely enjoy it. This is the second issue in the story of the ronin Okko, who along with his companions searches for a kidnapped geisha named Little Carp. Okko is known as the Demon Hunter. Needless to say, he knows what he is doing with a sword.  The best part of this was that I could understand what was happening without reading the first issue in the series, even though it takes place in a fictional land in the past.
