Strange as it is
Finally after a long wait the series finally turns around to Adam Strange. The introduction of Strange and his Rannian companion Alanna make things a little easier to manage here. It is not so much that the stories are that much better (though they were in fact) but maybe rather that the familiar faces make things more tolerable. The first story here is for Strange and deals with some robots that have run amok. A feature on Our Amazing Universe follows. The next story deals with an escape artist that is famous across the universe who must escape from a particularly devious holding cell (though the gap in logic is still here as with earlier stories as to his escape.) Next a Giants of the Telescope features Sir David Gill. The final story is one more familiar to the rest of the series, involving an invasion, but at least this time not of Earth. Regardless, the series gets a boost here from the Stranges.
