    I haven't kept up, but why all of a sudden is doom so chummy toward Reed and co? Also why is Doom now an Uncle to fantastic 4 child?

    Basically, there were some complications in Valeria's birth and hence Reed had to get Doom to deliver the baby... Doom named her Valeria after his first love and cast a spell on her, but i think the FF got rid of it, but she maintains a close bond with him...

    Basically, again, Doom lost his intelligence and Valeria offered to help him get it back IF she helped him destroy alternate, evil Reed's (Doom's dream, lol)
