You know how Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are the ONLY mutant characters Marvel can use in the Cinematic Universe and have joint custody of them along with FOX(FYI, I'm calling it now Marvel's versions will be better based on costumes alone)?

Well what if they had joint custody on MORE characters Venom with Sony? Since Sony is clearly going the Ultimate non alien Venom route, we could see a more classic interpretation of Venom on Marvel's side as a bitter adult reporter who bonds with an alien. What characters could YOU see working in this capacity if it had happened this way? Personally I'd love to have Doctor Doom in the Cinematic Universe.

I've always seen Doom as not only a villain for the Fantastic Four, but a villain for the Marvel Universe as a whole. He runs an entire country, he has that aura about him that is just so menacing, and the fact he can play on ANYONE'S level. Science? Sure! Magic? Yeah that's a go too! He's one of my top favorite villains in Marvel and really, I think he'd work wonderfully.

Batman

Who owns the Starjammers? What about Juggernaut since he's not a mutant?

The obvious answers for me would be Doom and Magneto.

Galactus, Skrulls (if they aren't already), Deadpool, and pretty much everyother character not owned by Marvel that Marvel created.

I wish Marvel had 'joint custody' of Batman. Then they might finally make a decent Batman film.

Fantastic Four. Its a win win all the major mythos, the characters and the team. Seriously what the hell is with Batman I thought fans loved the gritty Nolan Batman WB created for him. Bunch of trolls. As to X-men, eh their better off isolated.

Why worry about that?

Why not simply create new characters as stand ins for the ones they don't have the right to use?

Many new and interesting characters have been created over the years due to limitations like this. The Squadron Supreme is a great example of this.

In making comic books or movies I expect the creators to be...well "creative".

Marvel got back the rights but I don't think they'll do a movie on him :(

@norrinboltagonprime21: I thought they offered to let Fox keep Daredevil in return for giving Marvel Galactus and Silver Surfer. But I believe Fox turned them down. Hence the Daredevil Netflix show from Marvel.

I could've sworn I heard something about Marvel buying back a bunch of movie rights and Silver Surfer was one of them. Now this saddens me :(

@tyrus: Are you sure Spider-Woman is with Sony? I wish someone from each company would just come out and list all the characters they actually can use. It's really annoying only really knowing a handful of characters that are actually stuck at certain companies.
