Since Marvel typically does a piss-poor job of marketing their female characters, I'm very skeptical about this.

I don't like the fact that Carol will be Captain Marvel soon.It seems detrimental to the character, if they were to put her on an all-girls team as they basically gave her a man's mantle.She's more powerful than every character that has ever used the name Captain Marvel accept for Genis.I don't really see why she's still stuck in his shadow.

Better not.Marvel doesn't have good female books and I don't want any characters I like to be ruined.I want Spider-Woman,Ms. Marvel and Sue Storm away from there.

If done properly, this could be great. Properly would mean a diverse, well balanced roster, a creative team capable of bringing to life real women rather than stereotypes or caricatures, and an initial threat that indicates the need for a female team without being excessively contrived. Those are some high bars. I'm not saying they can't be met... in fact, I'd like both DC and Marvel to do this... (yes, I know BoP qualifies, I'd like them to target younger and innocent to boot).

The same ... and by that I mean as soon as the trade comes out and I can have it shipped form the States to here.

I never read The Fearless mainly beacuse it was connected to Fear Itself but was it any good?

@TheOptimist: I think it can be done. Lord knows the Marvel girls need more spotlight on them and interact with one another than be shadowed by the guys they are dating.

Would it be a female version of a current marvel team. i.e. an all girl avengers. or a collection of girls from other teams?

I would love it if the Invisible Woman was on the team and with a separate costume from her FF one.

I'll admit, I'm used to Ms. Marvel, but you got to admit, Captain Marvel's new look commands more respect than the busty and revealing Ms. Marvel outfit.

Bendis has ruined them but I don't wnat them to become even worse than that.And for Sue Storm,she is a great character and is becoming cooler and cooler.

- I think it has little shot of lasting based on prior attempts at recent female solo and team books, but i wish them luck.

- I agree that there is almost nothing left out there with a female character at the forefront, its pretty sparse

Can anyone say; Lady Liberators?

If an all-female team book was to published by Marvel, I'd check it out but I'd want an artist like Frank Cho to draw it.
