    Smash hit!

This has everything that makes a great comic book.

It has the Fantastic Four. This is one of the best written - best drawn versions of the Fantastic Four available. Hands down. Ultimate Fantastic Four proabably comes in second (I stopped reading that one after the zombies storyline), with the regular Fantastic Four behind (I bailed on that after they brought Ben back from the dead and met the creator).

I prefer the done-in-one stories. So far, there has not been one disappointing issue of Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four.

I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a companion to the Cartoon Network Fantastic Four. There doesn't seem to be anything directing me to find the Fantastic Four on Cartoon Network or find the box sets of the episodes, which is fine.

Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four 29 opens with Johnny and Ben once again desperately needing a refresher on TEAMWORK from Reed, and HARMONY from Sue. Not even a smack in the head from Sue seems to do the trick.

The Fantastic Four quickly respond to a summons from General "Thunderbolt" Ross, and head west to California. Instead of starlets, they find the other thing that makes this a great comic.

    The Hulk!

I won't spoil any of the romp for you. If you are a Fantastic Four and an Incredible Hulk fan this is for you! The Hulk's origin is retold, The Hulk and The Thing square off - as you might expect, teamwork prevails, Johnny sees stars; and Sue and Reed have a very nice George and Jane Jetson moment.

    Good times had by all!
