    Krag, the mercurian, has arrived on Earth in a ship in the middle of Metropolis.

    Descending from the ship, Krag is greeted by several metropolitans. Krag claims to be a Mercurian and that he learned English using a powerful telescope.

    Superman comes to welcome Krag.

    Fleming, the Mayor's assistant, appears and takes him in an open car through the streets of Metropolis. There is an accident on the way and Krag is shown to have powers equal to Superman's.

    Later Krag helped bandits rob a bank, and told them he was an escapee from a Mercurian prison and wanted to meet the Crime Czar.

    He would have to remove Superman to meet the Crime Czar.

    Krag challenges Kal-El and battles him. In the end Krag wins.

    Krag is led to the masked Crime Czar, tearing off the mask and discovering that it was Fleming, the mayor's assistant.

    Krag first reveals himself to be Kal-El, then Superman himself summons Krag, a robot he built.

    Superman builds Krag, with a super-hard metal he found in Mercury. He used the robot as a ruse to get to Crime Czar.

    In the end, he used Krag's costume and makeup to trap Crime Czar.
