Kruger is searching Africa for the legendary center of the earth, called Agharta, so that he can exploit it for tourism and gold. Previously he was a slaver and a rhinoceros horn poacher.
He happens upon Chief Baka's village and there meets Bozz, an alien, and realizes that he could be worth even more money. He hides his true motives and comes along with the others to seek the place where, according to the tribe's legends, the "gods" (or aliens) first came to Earth--a place Bozz seeks so he can hopefully return home.
He tries to capture Bozz one night with a net, but Bozz easily rips it off and tells the local baboons to attack Kruger and his men. They run off, screaming.
He survives, however, and sets a fire to get rid of the Bozz and his friends, to no avail. He finally catches Bozz by threatening Mandy, his friend. However that night they are rescued by their other friends Salem and Fitzroy.
Bozz finds a spaceship made by his race, but Kruger finds them once more and tries to kill them. Bozz knocks the bomb into the ship and Kruger follows, only to be destroyed along with it.
