Get off of me
This issues starts off with a fair amount of action as first Bomani is reintroduced as a member of the tiger clan, and as Mowgli attacks Baloo. Bomani and the tiger clan are engaged in the hunt, and Bomani is shown as an inferior member of the tigers, or at least as he is judged by them. Conversely the battle with Baloo is revealed to be only training for Mowgli as the two are indeed allies. Things get a lot more serious very quickly though as the tigers decide that now is the right time to reignite the old war between the animals. They attack the unsuspecting wolves and leave them desolated. Mowgli returns only to find Bomani and the tigers there in the aftermath of the battle. As opposed to the first issue which focused on the background of the characters, this issue propels the series forwards, focusing on new grievances to add to the old ones. The action and adventure is quite engaging though and the series maintains the excellent tone it set in the first issue.
