The bears' den
Not that I am this far into this series I can say that I think I have discovered a trend as it relates to how I enjoy this series. When a story is told which takes more liberties with the original it makes for a less enjoyable issue or when a story is told where the modern half of the parable contains a less than relevant topic it also suffers. Such is the case with this issue which takes a fair amount of liberties with the Goldilocks story, and for which the modern equivalent (gold-diggers) is not really as pressing an issue. Of course it is still something which deserves attention I suppose and I still enjoyed this issue. I think to be fair that I have liked this series as much so far because of its edgy approach and an issue like this one is still strong enough even when it is compared to the rest. It is just that the rest have been much better at times.
