    Grim Fairy Tales # 46

    While the Neverland Mini is what sucked me into this franchise this issue puts me off a little bit. The art was fantastic, but the story this time was way to cliché for my liking.

    This issue carries over the entire gimmick regarding the devil giving someone the power to choose who lives and dies. Of coarse it is the devil and there are stipulations. You make a wrong turn and make the wrong person live and you are screwed or vice versa I’m sure.

    This issue just made me go “meh”. I think I may have to just start reading solicits to pick which story arcs to buy for this book. Or wait for well received stories in trade. The Neverland mini is definitely good so I’m a mixed bag about this one.

      Slowly but surely the momentum is picking back up in this series.  While it has nothing to do with fairy tales per se, the format chosen and the story told does harken back here to the earlier issues in the series.  This tells the story of a young boy both in present and in the past that wishes he has the control over life and death and is granted that wish.
