    UltraLantern!

Art - There isn't anything to really anything to say about the art in this issue other than the art is all average to slightly above average, but i also has several panels that would make for some great desk tops

Story - In general the story is pretty awesome and answers at least one question about the rings going to Kyle. I however do have a problem with the idea that using all the different ring energies are destructive to the user and the rings somehow burn out and destroy themselves. That doesn't make any sense in my opinion as it suggests that using any ring is destructive and that if enough power courses through the rings they will self destruct even though at least the Yellow was constructed by the Weaponers and that wouldn't happen.

Characterization - The characters are all slightly off. Arkillo is too concerned with the whole "he killed a yellow lantern" thing. Bleez is mindless still which doesn't work in this title. Saint Walker is a little too conformist. Ganthet doesn't act like Ganthet, but he's not Ganthet any more really so it's semi ok. The other characters all pretty much don't have a personality but they don't need it for this issue so it's ok.

Recommendation - Overall this is issue is excellent, but not perfect and the slightly off personalities and things happening while ok for this issue will become more apparent in future issues if it is not explained or changed. I recommend buying this issue, and more than likely if you read this issue this will make you wonder what's happening just enough to buy the previous two issues, but they aren't needed to enjoy what's going on here.

The Good: The way Kyle's multiple flow of energies looks, using all at once, is incredible. The blend of colors and the unique flow of the energies is beautiful in action. I'm now impressed by the mystery behind the Orange Ring. It was one of the few we didn't see prior to joining Kyle, and it makes a lot of sense. Plus it leads directly into a wild new direction for the plot. The Bad: Why is Fatality the only one absent from the cover? Why would a human be unable to wield all light? Seems to me ...

Why can he wield all the power of the emotional spectrum? Sure we know he was Ion at one point and was essentially God but with the recent reboot we have no clue if this is still applicable?!
