    The Good Old Days

When I turned to the last page of #1, I suffered a massive nerdgasm and was in hospital for several days. The reuniting of Green Lantern and Green Arrow to kick some ass was too much for my little brain to take. In my humble opinion, GA and GL are one of the greatest comic book duos of all time (others including Blue Beetle and Booster Gold, Cable and Deadpool, Superman and Batman, etc.)

There's a lot of mystery in this forest as somehow, it disables technology, including Hal's ring! So he and Ollie are left to fight a pack of Royal Guards without the help of any nifty constructs. The banter between these two has always been priceless and this single issue showcases that perfectly. If there's anyone out there who wants to get into Green Arrow but doesn't know a good jumping on point, this series is it!

People have complained about the cross hatching and the constant switch with Ollie's eyes between white mask eyes and normal ones with pupils, but I could care less. Cross hatching works in certain styles and the art of Diogenes Neves is one of them. As for the eyes, It doesn't really matter. The pupils are usually only visible in close ups, which makes sense, and they switch when it best fits what's going on in the panel. All in all, this comic was absolutely awesome and I strongly recommend it.

F*ck the critics! I say Green Arrow is a good comic 0

I'm tired of the negative reviews Green Arrow is recieving. Yeah we all know he's a copy of Robin Hood, but give it a rest already, for me this series is better than Green Arrow and Black Canary series. And I love Ollie's sense of Humor. Now for the review.   After the ending of the first issue we found Hal Jordan looking for Oliver Quinn and losing his power source because of a White Lantern engraved tree. Well first of all I like the art of the covers in both issues (#1 and #2). The artwork in...

      Review: Green Arrow #2 0

Green Arrow and Hal Jordan team up to defend the Star City woods from the new security team at Queen Industries. Featuring a shocking conclusion!  The Good It's a quick, fun book. Krul's writing breezes you through this entertaining issue as we learn a little more about the forest in Star City and that White Lantern tree we saw in issue one. Lots of great action, and lots of Ollie proving why this place is "his forest." For me, the most enjoyable part of this book is Krul's take on Green Ar...
