If You Thought Anthology of Interest Was a Wild Ride...
You're in for a treat with this one!
Was very impressed with the What If Plot. This felt like it could've been an actual episode! Fry needs to have a tooth pulled out, and Bender inadvertidy blows up the What If Machine. Fry and Bender are advised by a monkey tailed Scruffy (maybe he's a mutant, too?) to pick up the pieces. Along the way, they meet a successful Zoidberg who wins at everything. And an average Leela who can read minds who never left the sewers. The others as 'Peanuts' characters, Kiff a Leprechaun, Mom and her sons are snowpeople, and Zapp is Cap'N Crunch who has Decopodians working for him!
The best part was the game show to get a new part. Calculon is a Wink Martindale tyope host. Farnsworth was a kangaroo. Loved the rip on Winnie The Pooh.
Everything then goes backwards, turns into words. Fry thinks he finally has a chance with Leela. Bender beats up the Robot Mafia. Do not miss out on the opportunity to get this one!
Way better than "Tales Twice Told of Interest". Didn't like the Christmas Everyday storyline, and seeing Leela in harem clothes in that one. Unfortunetaly, she got sold into a harem in issue #54 and Fry saved her and became a hero because of it.
