Worst movie of 1997?

Titanic was not a bad movie.

I've never actually thought about it, but my god, 1997 was an ABYSMAL year for cinema. I mean hell, all of these are pretty fu*king bad. My vote goes to Titanic though. The only good part was getting to see Kate Winslet's fine looking breasts, and it took 2 and half hours of pointless class warfare sh*t to get to it. The destruction itself wasn't even that exciting. and of course, there was this:

THIS GOD AWFUL ASSAULT ON MY EARS THAT PLAYED ALL YEAR, ON EVERY RADIO STATION IN THE COUNTRY. No wonder the Canadian government tried to deport her.

@jonny_anonymous: Air force one was ok, Con Air was awesome, Face/Off is overrated, and ok, you got me on Men In Black. But still, the bad was far worse.

Why is titanic on this list? It was a great love story that helped advance gay and transgender equality

Steel...

Titanic was great. Never saw Annihilation. Steel was campy but not awful. Batman and Robin is painful in every way.

I would like to remind you of few abominations that your mind probably blocked off.....Speed 2: cruise control, jungle 2 jungle, alien resurrection, the postman, double team, kull the conqueror.......you're welcome.

Titanic wasn't a bad movie IMO.

But Batman and Robin almost destroyed my soul.

Well I think that we can all agree that the best film of 1997 was either Starship Troopers or Event Horizon :)

Why is Batman and Robin on the list? It was better than the Dark Knight.
