Who's the best debater on comicvine?

At one point, I was one of the best debaters, according to the community. As of now, I don't even know where I stand. I don't even debate frequently. It's kind of hard to do so, considering the way the battle forums are now. There's too much nonsense going on over there...

I know I haven't been on CV NEARLY as long as you two, but I'm with you guys. The Battles are filled with nonsense, flame wars, insults, trolls, fanboys (I'm sometimes guilty of this), out of context scans, and honestly I can't stand it anymore.

Agreed. Also @killemall / @jashro44 / @thetruebarryallen / @dedmanwalkin / @veshark / @wyldsong / @lvenger / @frozen and the collective HOF debaters. I hope to be considered among st these fine gentlemen one day.....

It's because of this that I don't debate much nowadays.

I'm not a veteran by any means but many of the new "Battle Forum" folk are really causing the forum to crash and burn.

@princearagorn1: insofar as the debate involving one or more Manga characters are concerned, you do normally appear the most knowledgeable one.

As for the other comments, I kinda agree across the board. On the one hand, a lot of the HOF debaters/HOF nomination list have most of the best Vine debaters on it already. And on the other hand the battle forums are now being overrun with trolls, flame baiters, fanboys and just plain bad debaters nowadays. Even CAVs and tournies might be in danger to an extent.

Although I disagree with him a lot, @lvenger is probably one of the highest on my list. @jashro44, @ghostravage, and @frozen are up there, too.

@beaconofstrength: Thanks but I've just realised something. According to the last HOF round of voting, you're not even on the nominations list are you? I can nominate you to be put up there on the next round, even though we disagree on Beta Ray Bill's reaction times ;)

@lvenger: I've literally never been in a formal debate on this site before. Every debate I've gotten into, my opponent has had issues and left before the 3rd post. I'm finally starting to get into them, again.

@beaconofstrength: Seriously? That's incredibly unlucky, what's up with that?

@lvenger: No idea, but I don't really care anymore. I've just started another CaV and I'm hoping to get into more, in the near future; I'm not used to debating for characters, but I want to start and improve at it.

@beaconofstrength: You've done a good job in the ordinary battle forums and made a few respect threads so I'm sure you'll be fine at CAVs too.
