Modern warfare 2, I have never gotten so pissed off at a game since the incredibles :P
Left 4 Dead 2, I couldn't get past the f'ing dark carnival finale, it pissed me off so much because the A.I. would survive and I wouldn't... Oh look the helicopter, WATCH OUT! TANK!!!!
Last but not least...Ninja Gaiden Black on Xbox, that game is so much harder than Ninja Gaiden 2 it isn't even funny. You get past a horde of enemies with low health and no potions and you begin to thank the gaming gods that you have reached a save point then BAM, another horde of mother loving ninjas on horses... -_-
alien vs predator new one matchmaking drives me insane , then theres prince of persia new one " need to land one combo to get platinum and always gets blocked" and final boss on uncharted 2 on crushing difficulty
" @Undergroundgod: LMAONinja Gaiden II drove me nutz at points. I DID THE GOD DAMN DOUBLE JUMP YOU FREAKING STUPID NINJA, was yelled at the screen more than a few times.
@Vance Astro: Nah. I'm talking about Ninja Gaiden II on the 360. I have over 150 continues on that game! LOL. "
I have never raged quit on anyone, the only thing that pisses me of is one of two things...
A. Someone modding/hacking/cheating online because they're a loser with no life or
B. If someone is lagging badly...then I will finish that game then leave
P.S. lol I make people RAGE quit on me all the time in MK online haha...funny stuff
Street Fighter 4, for some reason, is just about the only competitive multiplayer game that can get me really close to rage-quitting. There have been times where I've wanted to hurl the controller against the wall. I attribute this to the fact that the 360 controller is horribly suited for 2D fighters. I have similar experiences with MvC2, although that more because of assist spam and infinites, which are hilariously depressing.
I literally cannot rage quit at single player games, however. The original NES Ninja Gaiden (which I've beaten) and Devil May Cry 3 have made me feel no anger. I even found NG2 for 360 to be pretty easy as a result.
Pretty much any competitive online fighting game has it's raging moments. *sigh* I actually have a story. I was playing Street Fighter 4 about a year ago online, and I was trying to advance with my battle points. I think I was at about 3000-4000 battle points at one time. So ok I'm playing the game, I stopped using Ryu because I couldn't quite grasp his too technical moves/combos, and Akuma (my favorite SF character) was useless to me. I did, however, find a good bit of success with Blanka and Balrog. So I'm now using charge characters, mainly Blanka and I'm just demolishing my opponents left and right. I made it up to about 4500 battle points...and that's where it all started to fall apart. Over the course of the next week I just kept constantly losing, and losing, and losing, would win a couple, but lose like 10 in a row to the point that my BP had dropped to like 2000. It took me quite some time to get up to 4000+ BP and in about a weeks time I lost it all. So I'm playing this one person and they're just running a technical clinic on me. Embarrassing me and making me look like a f***in rookie. In a fit of pure rage I take my $50 ps3 controller and begin to slam it against my coffee table destroying the device. While I'm still possessed by the rage demon I calmly eject the SF disc and snap it into pieces. That was my honest to God first time a video game, or any game put me in a fit like that before. Oddly enough after I destroyed the disc I felt a wave of relief and calmness throughout my body. I was more upset about destroying my controller than the SF game. My gf wasn't too happy about it either because we couldn't play RE5 anymore together for a few weeks until I bought another controller. Oh well that's my story.
To date I have never raged quit a game, came close to it when a party dropped out of a halo multiplayer leaving me against the other team, who started spawn killing. But hell still got a lot of XP for it so yeah.
Mortal Kombat 2= UNFAIR recovery for the computer! That "pop-up" would take me 5 minutes to perform, and Mileena's sais have to be CHARGED!! How are you throwing 90 sais per minute? SKETCH
Mortal Kombat 9= Because Shao Kahn is a cheating liar who enters god mode at random
DOA4= Kasumi's clone is, by far, the cheapest boss I have ever faced in a fighting game.
MUA2 (ps2) = it was so terrible I was crying with laughter...This was BEFORE I bought my 360...hideous.
MK9 on story/arcade. Made both me and my friend(who has the patience of a saint) throw up our arms in frustration and quit. Though that was before we discovered the easiest way to beat Shao Kahn is by spamming..
Also, Fallout: New Vegas, because my copy got so scratched up that New Vegas no longer loads. I literally had a moment where I hurled the controller at the wall because the game crashed for the fourth time in a row while trying to get into New Vegas.
Halo 3 the sniping was terrible...i swear to Christ if you didnt have their entire head in the cross hairs you'd loos the kill.
Modern warefare 2 was straight a$$, if someone got the fmj with its over for your life..your gonna die from the bullet powder itself
MV3 f*cking phoenix's transformation smh....on Xfactor....throwing 120 fireballs per min....i havent played marvel vs capcom 3 since...just thinking about Phoenix pisses me off
Madden I hate it when I get stops on first down and second down but they always seem to get it on third down.
Oh one more game that i cant believe i forgot
The whole super metriod series. i cant take how ridiculously hard that series was. The first one especially, they purposely created these impossible jumps that would land you directly at your enemies mercy...i never ever beat any of the metrios in my life....i grew to hate samus..that damn iron man looking f*ck. That game was seriously a pile of steaming sh!t
Chess makes me want to quit, when I'm playing against my teacher/mentor. But I don't, because I still hope that one day I can beat him, turn things around, like when I play against myself.
prince of Persia I have never finished any version of it without destroying 2 controllers and having to buy more
