No. Just stop.
Didn't mean to offend, just to hear opinion for both sides.
Turn a long time fictional (straight male) icon trans to spread the message- I’m sure this will do wonders for the trans community and they’ll get no backlash at all 🤩
This is the kind of stuff that makes more people hate the trans community, and it's not even the trans community doing it, it's people who feel the need to fight the fight for them and fail miserably.
Why are S.Korean movies doing great and Japanese anime and manga sales now trashing Marvel and DC combined?
.
feminist girl-power women fought and bleed and battled and died on those beaches of Normandy, France
If some politcial weridos and writers keep putting werid Degenerate stuff into comics, is it not abuse and sexual harasment of the readers?

I’m all for more trans representation in comics and all in all the wider lgbtq+ representation cuz there is such a dearth of it in comics but instead of transforming an iconic character that has been around forever for the sake of representation , make iconic genuine queer characters. They did a really good job of this with wiccan
Nice options in the poll... I don't know if you've noticed but the "no" option is made out to make those who vote no as transphobic. Dunno if this is meant as sarcasm or a genuine post but just thought to point it out.
Exactly why I didn't pick an option lol
No IMO, Superman has been a very popular character for a while now, and changing something like his gender would not make a positive impact as he has already been such an iconic and long standing character at DC, now I have no problem with DC trying to try something new, if they want they could do it, but that would split the Superman fan base. I would have no problem if this was a completely different Superman from a different universe but changing Clark Kent, the most popular comicbook hero would cause some major backlash, fans would be mad (including me), now I want to give an example, let's say your favorite dish at a restaurant changes despite it selling well, people liking it, and it being a icon for that restaurant, it would get massive backlash (as expected), if you see the problem here, it should be easy to see the problem with changing one of the most popilar characters in all of fiction, but, it is my opinion. And regarding the "Hell no, I don't like trans people", that is not good for opening a discussion, somebody could have 100% put "Yes, I want one of the most popular fiction to change because I want to feel like a better person without doing much" <---- that is twisting words, it can be done with almost anything, also, please keep in mind Superman now stands for something greater than "guy who beats bad guys and fights for good", he has become a symbol FOR good, which takes time, and changing him like this does not help people understand that more, again I'm fine with a LGBTQ+ Superman, as long as it isn't main continuity Clark Kent Superman, please try to see the other side of the argument, and I'll try to see yours. 😄
I don't like trans people 60%
You didn't have to put this in the options, as it wasn't necessary.
These judgemental options are sometimes funny. A laughably bad kind of funny.
He's already written like a pussy in half his stories anyway so why not?
Turn Power Girl into a full blown shemale while we're at it too.
Why would you make the alien a Trans person? Are you trying to insult Trans people and say they're not like regular humans? Like their from another planet?
No, I decided to ask this question for the sole purpose on hearing other people opinions.
I was bored, sorry if it was inappropriate.
No, if you want more diversity, make new characters. That's why Ms. Marvel took off. You can't duplicate or change established characters and expect people to be supportive of it. Though they probably should have a trans character considering just how many characters they have with almost none of them having being diverse in any way.
Why not make 7.8 billion different Supermans so everyone can feel represented?
I can't😂
Technically Superman could have some ability to switch genders we don't know about. You never know with kryptonians. I personally think Superman is secretly Supergirl and just clones himself when both need to be in the same room.
Where would they get the surgical tools for her to mutilate her body?
Kryptonite works.
This is a troll thread, right?
I assume so.
Why not instead create a Transgender Character with Superman like abilities or similar ? I mean there are a ton of Characters like that in DC and Marvel already just fine tune some of the additional powers. Instead of having Heat Vision maybe the Character can generate some type of Special Energy that projects from their Hands or something.
Marketing to a tiny fraction of a medium that is in of it self niche, via sacrificing one of your most marketable characters, is a business decision so maliciously bad, shareholders of the publicly traded company should sue.
@abraham_2004: what does thaT mean

Comics keep changing character's sexuality, gender, and race. For example, Iceman, Star-Lord, Kitty Pryde, and Alan Scott have all been retconned by the LGBT.
@abraham_2004: damaged Is a strong word. It’s tokenism yes but does it really ruin their characters for you?

I say it depends on the character. For example, if they made Jane Foster lesbian, fans wouldn't really care, but if they made Superman gay, then there would be a problem.
@abraham_2004: well iceman didn’t really have an iconic love intrest so why does him being gay matter

I didn't say it mattered, I was giving examples of comics changing character's sexuality, but if they made a character like Superman, Batman or Spider-Man gay/trans/bi, then I including a lot of fans would be very unhappy, so turning Superman trans isn't a good idea. Sorry for the late response, I had to go do something.
@abraham_2004: I get that because all three of them have very famous love interests. But when I ask you what do you mean by it has damaged comics you bring up characters that actually work well lgbt disregarding the very few characters we do get. But yes I agree make more lgbt characters instead of turning existing ones

I didn't say it damaged the characters I listed, I was giving examples of LGBT retcons occurring in comics. The op is asking whether Superman should be made trans and my answer is no.
@abraham_2004: alright then
Applying with your same logic, Superman should be a girl for equity cuz y not?
ARE YOU SAYING YOU ARE OPPOSED TO A GIRL SUPERMAN???? Seems kinda sexist to me.
