I'm hoping this thread doesn't derail.

i was hoping this would have a poll (strongly disapprove-strongly approve)

Obama sucks and so does Romney.

Romney would have done a better job than Barack but Ron Paul would have done even better.

I strongly disapprove of his job performance, he has done nothing to prevent NSA spying (general warrants), only shows charisma when hes campaigning, has shown no bipartisan efforts, hes chronic liar, carried over a lot of Bushs policies, etc

Obama may have actually had the job's best interest at heart when he began, but much like Bush he seems to have said, "Eff this job and eff you guys, I'm going home," towards the end cause it really looks like he's stopped caring. This is why we should stop voting incumbent no matter what party you subscribe to.

This along with blatantly ignoring the Constitution. I could go on and on. I can't believe we will have had 16 under two of the worst presidents in history.

I pity the guy. Everything he tries to do gets stonewalled out of hand and a loud vocal minority thinks he's the devil.

That being said, I had hopes that he'd try to undo Bush's policies but as far as Foreign affairs and domestic spying go he's more of the same, just one who tepidly backed Gay Marriage once it was clear that Homophobia was a losing position and pushed half assed versions of social programs Europe already has more and better of (no matter how hard Angela Merkel tries her Austerity nonsense when the correct way to fight a recession, as shown by Iceland, is to punish the banks and bail out the people, not the other way around.)

By Scandinavian standards he'd be center right (social policies) to far right (foreign policies).

Overall he's been a disappointment. Still better than the alternatives, but that's like saying you're better off because you only have prostate cancer in a leper colony.

Putin is better than every US president to ever exist....

Except Bush. Bush was at least funny.

In terms of character, I like Washington the best. That dude had character coming out the wazoo. In terms of policies, I guess I'd go with Jefferson.

President Obama had not done a good job for many reasons. The biggest is his disregard for the Constitutuion.

I think Romney would lie less and actually make some rational decisions, but he'd still broaden the powers of the federal government.
