At no time in Floyd Mayweather's entire career has he ever trained to defend the take down, block or check kicks, or needed any practical (let alone advanced) defensive measures against BJJ or Judo techniques. Then you and the people you mentioned have extremely clueless logic. "Fighter" is a broad term. Mayweather is a boxer. By all means, he can have the "#1 boxer in the world" title all day (if we're talking present-day, but that's another discussion).

Fighter is a broad term, however it just happens to be that Boxers often have higher credentials in fighting rankings, Mayweather's record against all-time greats and world-title wins solidify him as the best fighter in the world {currently}.
Again, all irrelevant when considering that boxing is only one mode of fighting, a very limited form. Higher credentials from whom? Until Mayweather proves he can excel in other martial arts besides boxing, he only fits the description of best boxer in the world.
Ronda's standup is nothing compared to Floyd's. How do you expect her to even get close, if she's severely outclassed in the standup game. She gets her teeth broken here.
She would destroy him in a MMA match. He would destroy her in a padded record contest.
Floyd is stronger, faster, and more skilled than Ronda Rousey. Not to mention he weighs more as well. If she decides to go up and up with Floyd, she'll get knocked out. If she goes in for a throw, she'll get knocked out. How exactly is she going to "destroy" him?
@themongoose: she gets punched in the face. Like I said she can only win if the fight goes to the he ground but but that's not happening. As soon as she gets close she will get punched.

boxers have a limited area to attack. think Baki the Grappler had a pretty good fight scene. Plus whenever you fight no matter how good your hands there is grabbing.
Who would win in basketball, Michael Jordan or Tom Brady? Two totally different sports and two totally different types of athletes. Make Rhonda stand up and box, she gets obliterated with the utmost ease. Make Floyd play by UFC rules, (taking into account he's a male and is likely stronger than her) he loses.
@themongoose: mayweather is faster. Charging at someone's legs is stupid, he will kick her in the face. You don't have to be a trained fighter to kick someone at your feet in the face. Especially when you're fasterm
@jayc1324: Boxers are limited. Ronda has been trained in judo and many other forms of martial arts. MMA fighters have to follow rules for a reason because they can hurt people way worse in a brawl.
@jayc1324: Don't be ridiculous Ronda won't charge him from the other side of the octogan she'll be subtle about it she'll get in range then takedown! Ronda is one the best female grapplers on earth I have confidence that she can defend a mayweather kick.

No but really you should have looked up the fight .You misunderstand what I was trying to tell you I wasn't comparing james to floyd I was comparing boxing to mma once this fight goes to the ground it doesn't matter if he is the best boxer in the world he'll be as helpless as a child!!
@zhurong: @jayc1324: All because you know Judo, doesn't mean you can take someone who's stronger and heavier than you down with ease. (inb4 the Judo uses momentum). All fights start on up and up, and Floyd can and will break her teeth. Ronda Rousey is the champ of a women's bantamweight division, and Floyd Mayweather is a men's welterweight champion. She is outclassed here, and quite frankly, ends in a stomp.
