Police say the naked man is not Tamerlan, despite various conspiracy theories going around the Internet.

According to the official account, Tamerlan died after a shootout with cops, riddled with bullets and shrapnel before being run over by his brother who was fleeing the scene in an SUV.

The Watertown police department says that the naked man was not Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

I'm wondering if anyone heard of Naked Guy being Identified anywhere??

Same here. I could have sworn the media was already reporting Tamerlan as being dead while naked guy was naked and in the police car. I'm all for a good conspiracy theory but this one seems more forced then most. Besides, why would they 'secretly" murder one brother and not the other? Would have been really easy to kill him underneath that boat. Real easy.
