Which characters are way more potentially dangerous/powerful than their showings but don't utilise their abilities enough or spends to much time talking instead of shooting/punching/killing?

Silver Surfer, there's a lot of instances where conflicts would be resolved instantly if he remembered his powers, Flash is another hero that has superpower amenisia.

Richard Reeds too.

He could solve so many problems if he actually used his brain for things other than useless experiments and foiling supervillains.

Especially in the Justice League cartoon, it gets sickening.

I don't think even one of the mentions here so far counts as CIS :/

Anyway, probably someone like Sandman I guess, hmmm, actually maybe Goku.

Wolverine has a good case of CIS when it comes to utilizing his skill.

This

I'd say Spider-Man can do it too sometimes, although with him it's kind of self-imposed.

Pretty much every comic hero and villain have it for purposes of moving the story along and achieving the writer's desired end.

why even make heros able to break continents if it just leads to CIS. but yea ive seen Silver Surfur do this but i think his power takes skill to utilize and some feats are tricky to pull off( just a theory). I think the main one is reed richards. The guy could fix any problem in the world in just a few years.

I think the real reason CIS exist for most characters is that they get over powered compared to the people they'll be fighting. I think characters like SS, Thor, Superman,Flash, Spider-man should all be powered down a fraction.

Low life characters that are threaten to tell a location of an item or person. It doesn't always work that way torture or threats don't have a 100% success rate. You could called it PIS since it is often used as a as a plot device but since there is a character involved I think yo can go with CIS as well. A CIS that leads into a PIS.

Ion Sodam Yat.

>Has all the powers of Ion, a being that is able to manipulate reality and time

>Decides to use only brute strength to fight Super(man/boy)-Prime

I spent how long alongside you to give you tips on using the Ion entity, and you do what? (-.-)
