What Queer Characters do you want to see on the big (or small) screen?

As some of us have noticed, representation for comic book characters in movies and TV shows have been pisspoor when it comes to queer characters. But let's all forget about that for a second and make like Fantine from Les Mis and Dream a Dream.

What queer characters would you want to see either in a movie or in a tv show? And what context would you want to see them in? For example, on which team? Supporting character or being the main character of said media? etc.

I'l start.

I want to see Midnighter and Apollo in a movie. I want them to be on the original Authority team. I just want that whole dynamic. It's probably my most favorite team.

I also want Wiccan and Hulking. I want them to be in a Young Avengers tv show. Speaking of Young Avengers tv show. I want a Young X-men tv show featuring Anole. I want the Young Avengers and Young X-men to be in the same Universe. Also add the Runaways show with Xavin and Karolina and I'll be content for the rest of my life.

idk id prefer if they took a well established character and made them gay instead since chances are they are more interesting and well developed but Id like a well done Constantine movie. a batwoman tv show would be great too

@willienotwilliam: Any well established characters would you have in mind. I would personally want to see a gay bruce wayne if that route was going and a Trans wonder woman.

@agent9149: I absolutely would love a trans wonder woman and also bisexual wonder woman. I think making Barry gay and having Iris be a guy would be great. MCU's cap and Sam would be a good relationship. Superman and Batman would be a good relationship. trans super boy. lol honestly any character i like, i would absolutely love them being queer, hell any good character that wouldn't be a bad stereotype would be great

@agent9149: IM LITERALLY THE SAME LOL. watching cap 2 again Sam almost serves as the romantic subplot for the movie in a lot of ways if only they just made it more physical(i.e. a kiss).

I was hoping to see Northstar in an X-men movie or perhaps even Midnighter, but as this is a question about only wanting them because they are gay, then I would prefer they sit out until they can be viewed as more than merely a token. They are good characters that deserve more respect than to be someone's wet dream or PR tool.

So as to gay characters to tokenize then I would say the new Alan Scott; not out of disrespect but his retcon was made for this reason so it seems appropriate.

I loled at the use of Queer in the title.

Karolina Dean, Batwoman and Bunker.

Alan Scott. His morality would fit better for movie rather than people like Midnighter who only knows how to kill. Alan Scott's power would look awesome to be recreated with movie effects.

I would love Midnighter as well, but it'd be too dark and gritty

@agent9149: The thing is they would try to go for the PG-13 rating, and Midnighter involved would be hard to get that rating. Midnighter's power is also not very flashy, so it could end up like a Punisher movie. At least with Alan Scott, there would be the Green Lantern name attached to it despite it being tarnished by Ryan Renolds.

@agent9149: Either a show or film. Plus CW we already has two Canaries, Felicity, Katana, Huntress (pre Bird of Prey) and Nissha al Ghul and Hawkgirl. Why not Birds of Prey show?
