What are most intelligent/smartest top 5 Endgame characters?
What are most intelligent Endgame characters?
It depends on what category of “smart”
•For technology obviously Tony
•For overall i’d probably say Black Widow
•For magic obviously Strange
@emmafrostxmen: Black Widow ain't smartes overall lmao. She ain't smart, period.
Overall is Bruce Banner
According to the directors, Ebony Maw reverse engineered the Pym particles easily to bring Thanos' ship to the future.
In that case, definitely Maw.
Tony is the smartest, he did everything in Endgame. Shuri has no feats and it's even the 2nd smartest that's Hank Pym.
@luckycharmz: She said that Zola was only “slightly” smarter than her, and she is an amazing hacker. She tricked the God of trickery, and she is extremely knowledgeable about weapons and tech. Also she is an expert in multiple styles of martial arts, and is knowledgeable in assasimation, and other covert ops categories.
In age of ultron she even used a broken robot head to build a gps locater for Hawkeye to find out where she is (Bruce saves her though)
I’m not saying she is the smartest, but overall she has the most knowledge about the most amount of different categories of intelligence. While Bruce and Tony specialize in specific categories like gamma radiation, and technology, Nat knows a lot about tech, fighting, spying, weapons, and on top of that she is just very knowledgeable about people (hence why she is so good at tricking people and spying)
I can agree she is not smarter than them in tech and physics and stuff, she just has the most variety in her knowledge
@emmafrostxmen: Ok she's smart but she isn't a genius. She isn't the most diverse either. Banner has 7 PHD's and Tony cracked Quantum Physics on the same scale as Pym while also replicating the shrinking mechanics. No argument to be made, everything Nat did they can do better, even Banner helped create Ultron and the Hulkbuster. Lol Make a gps and hack, please...
@luckycharmz: No they cannot trick Loki at all, so they definitely aren’t as knowledgeable about people as Widow. They also don’t know as many martial arts as her, or how to use as many weapons (iron man suit doesn’t count because that’s technology, and he doesn’t control it most of the time). They cannot replicate all of her skill with trickery, spying, h2h Combat, And weaponry.
So no, everything Nat did they cannot “do better”. All of widows skill in spying, weapons, fighting, tricking people, and technology all need great intelligence to be done that’s why overall she’s more intelligent then them
@emmafrostxmen: Yes they could and none of that requires intelligence, genius lmaoo. Where are her PHD's tho???
@emmafrostxmen: Tony can do everything you just listed.
@mister_stark: The guy's a super die hard blind Black Widow and female hero fan.
@mister_stark: No he can’t. Tony has mastered no martial arts (requires knowledge), he is not a master marksman, and he can’t outwit Loki etc
In a Combat Sense, And I’m understanding humans black widow is smarter than both tony and Bruce
Also she is far smarter than anyone with how people work and function, no one law can trick Loki, or perform as well as she did against winter soldier due to relying purely on spy training
Smartest was Shuri and second smartest was captain marvel.
What?
@luckycharmz: I never said that she is smarter in every category of intelligence......I said she is more diverse in her knowledge overall. Which she is, she is far smarter than them as a spy, she can out smart the god of trickery, she is an expert assassin/marksman, And She is also good with tech herself
In a combat sense she is far smarter than everyone else in the MCU
Look at her fight with winter soldier....she has no time to prep, yet she is still able to set up a sneak attack against another highly trained assasain. Tony would never be able to do that without his suit
@emmafrostxmen: Tony mastered time travel, quantum physics, and shrinking tech over night. If he wanted MMA and marksmen ship would be a cake walk
Tony invented time travel casually, developed the tech needed to make it a reality, created his own Infinity Gauntlet and outplayed Thanos. He is by far the smartest guy in that movie, period.
I'll also give credit to Scott Lang for coming up with the concept with the Pym Particles, and Banner for creating a device that could change someone's age. Thanos was also pretty smart for figuring out the time travel plot, and masterminding his way to almost defeating the entire Avengers in the process.
@luckycharmz: @mister_stark: I’m saying black widow is more a mix of street smarts and book smarts, while tony is only book smart.
@emmafrostxmen: Street smart means you can put what you know into effect. No one is better than Tony at that.
@diarrhearegatta: Tony did not invent time travel, hulk did. Tony perfected it. Hulk was already sending Scott Lang back and forth through time with hilarious results so they knew they could do it.
@emmafrostxmen: Guess his book smarts also allowed him to build weapons out of random christmas decorations and shit he got from Home Depot and casually infiltrate a mansion filled with security.
Getting training in how to fire a pistol and do a back flip doesn't make you smart lool. Any random mook can use guns and anyone dedicated can get a lesson in martial arts no matter how stupid they are
@mister_stark: @luckycharmz: Again I say, she is smart with people, she can trick people, she can control a fight just by easy and quick though (aka the winter soldier fight). Tony has no showings of tricking people to the degree she does it to Loki (intelligence), tony has never used limited gear to effectively distract an opponent like the Winter soldier.
Also yes, Tony using simple items to build good tech would still be considered book smarts. That would be understanding what parts need to go where for the tech to function properly
Black Widow understands people, and is very creative (tony is too). Nat has lived her whole life relying on the bare minimum, and has been trained to be smart and witty in order to survive on missions
@emmafrostxmen: this was maybe some of the most ridiculous posts I've ever read on this site... may have lost some brains cells
Obviously Tony
Banner, Maw (off screen),
Based on what the Russo's said, Maw/Thanos are tied with Pym for the smartest characters by far. After that, it's Tony, then Banner.
@blackspidey2099: Tony should be above Pym, it took him zero time to cross over into Pym's area of expertise and then advance it.
@emmafrostxmen: The only thing that can be argued is that she's a better spy. Tony dwarfs her in intelligence.
@mister_stark: How did Tony cross over into Pym's area of expertise? A relatively major plot point of the movie was that neither Tony/Banner understood how Pym Particles worked, which is why they needed to go back in time to the 70s in order to steal more instead of just synthesizing Pym Particles themselves.
Even regarding time travel, it was clearly a team effort between Stark and Banner. Banner got the device functioning with a few flaws, and Stark got it to work reliably.
@marvelanddcfan24: All I was trying to say was that Black Widow is smarter when it comes to Manipulation and spying.......is that not true?
@blackspidey2099: Time Travel is quantum physics and Tony was able to get running at a very accurate level. That's above Pym in every way
@mister_stark: He was only able to do so using Pym's tech... The same tech which he was unable to figure out himself. Besides, time travel was at least 50% Bruce; Tony just perfected the mechanism.
@blackspidey2099: he took the Pym tech and advanced it. Tony perfected the time travel has Bruce been able to do that he would have.
1. Tony Stark/Ironman- Made time travel suits and perfected the theory, and created an Infinity Guantlet
2. Ebony Maw (for easily reverse engineering the Pym particles something that Tony and Bruce couldn't do)
3. Bruce Banner/Hulk Major component of Time Travel
4. Thanos: Almost killed and defeated the Avengers without major knowledge on them.
5. Pym or Shuri
@mister_stark: He didn't advance Pym Tech, he doesn't even understand how it works. He just used Pym's tech. And yeah, he perfected Banner's time travel, but there's nothing to suggest he would have been able to do it from scratch. The time travel tech was a shared effort between Banner, Stark, and even Rocket to some extent. We don't even know whether all three of them together could have done it without being able to study Scott's suit.
I do think he's smarter than Banner due to general portrayal, but there's nothing to put him on the same level as Pym, Thanos, and Maw.
