I'll be posting the covers of pulps and you guys get to think up the names of the pulps and the names of the stories in them...but they must have modern themes.
The Pulp Fiction Game
How about:
Peril of the Phantom Flasher!
She looks like a damsel in distress, who is shielding her eyes from something bright. Yet at the same time, she can not fully turn away from the mysterious man who exposes himself and illuminates anyone in front of him at the same time ;)
I think it fits since she's also slightly blushing & looks shocked, but she's not turning away ;)
This second one is also a real pulp cover? I'll have to think about this one...
Yup. Pulps were not all in the "detective" or "horror" genre." I think it fits since she's also slightly blushing & looks shocked, but she's not turning away ;) This second one is also a real pulp cover? I'll have to think about this one... "
There were pulps about war, romance and a plethora of other themes.
" not the person to be creative here, but thanks for the art show. i like them alot. "You're welcome to look as much as you want, Catman! Bx1 will probably be dropping by soon. :D
The person with the collection of PS comics that I scan each weekend is out of town, so I thought I'd post something a little different this time.
" #1 Pulp Title: Dystopia Story Title: The Strawberry Kiss "Thanks!

" #2 Pulp Title: Christopher Street FablesStory Title: Withered Rose: The Rise and Fall of a Drag Queen. "Aaaaaaah! Christopher Street. You are bringing a nostalgic tear to my eye.

Thanks for all your fine contributions!
Just popped in long enough to say I'll be putting graphics on some of these tomorrow.
I'm going with the story title for the first cover that xerox-kitty came up with, Comiclove5. Sorry.
It is going to be called the Peril of the Phantom Flasher!
The title for the pulp series itself is still open though. Bx1 suggested Dystopia for the name of the series, but that's too severe for xerox-kitty's story to be a part of, I think.
