It is cheating to summon in a death battle?

Is it really against the outside help rule from death battle if someone has another person inside of them or their weapon?

I'm wondering is it cheating for Naruto,Maxwell from Scribblenauts,Lucy from fairy tail and Dr.Fate to have their allies like Nine tails fox/kurama/kyuubi,random summons,spirits/monsters and Nabu from inside of their bodies/items at a one vs one death battle?

No. The outside help rule exists so characters can't call on allies to fight for them when that isn't one of their standard abilities. Batman calling Superman etc.

If it's a summoning or calling on the power of a being inside them then it is something they can do at any time they desire as a part of their standard moveset. Liliana Vess conjuring undead or Nissa Revane calling upon elementals.

If the outside help rule applied to summoning or standard equipment beings you'd just cripple a massive range of characters in their fights. Nobody would be very satisfied to see Ash Ketchum lose to Harry Potter purely because he wasn't allowed to bring any of his Pokemon to the fight.

Youtube commenters are mostly fanboys who will come up with any excuse to try and invalidate outcomes they dislike. Naruto has had Kurama inside him since episode 1 and going Kyuubi mode has been a standard part of his powerset since his inception as a character. It is the core concept of who Naruto is as a character; the boy with a demon sealed inside him.

Also, Dr. Fate IS Nobu. Or at least Nobu is half of Dr. Fate. The guy wearing the helmet isn't Dr. Fate, it's the combination of the human and Nobu.

Anyone who would feel good about their favorite beating Naruto without the Nine Tailed Fox or Dr. Fate without his helmet on aren't there to see a fair battle. They just want to see their favorite win.

It's just an excuse made by sore losers.

Unless the rules restrict it summoning via your own power is fine. Also like Jimmor said don't bother with YouTube, it's nothing but fanboys engaging in flame wars with false/out of context "facts"(then again is there any other kind of flame war on YT?) as well as people that worship everything Seth says. Not worth your time.

Depends. If you have a character whose power is very focused on summoning minions to add them and amping them, such as a necromancer, taking away summoning hurts them quite a lot. Now, say, batman calling in Superman? That would break the likely 'spirit' of the match, so, yes, that is what I'd consider to be cheating. But really depends on what is wanted in the thread.

I guess it depends. If someone tries to call up Death, then that’s outside help. If someone SUMMONS Death (without Death’s consent, necessarily) then that’s an ability they have an should be able to use.
