I haven't read a marvel book since Thor #8. Not a boycott on purpose, there's just nothing that interests me now that Thor is gone. I guess that will continue unless I decide to pick up daredevil again.
None of the options.
Not a fan of some of the new characters, but there are still a lot of other characters and stories to be told.
i will just continue to torrent slightly older comics i havent read yet
What do you use to read them?
@citizensentry: CBR reader, i just typed in comicbook reader and it was the first link
i hope not. plenty of people are happy with their changes and it has introduced comic books to plenty of peolple who otherwise wouldnt read them. They are doing well and as long as sales are good they don't have a reason to change them
The only comics I'm buying are Sandman: Overture and Saga (when the trades are released).
If you want make a change happening you need more people to join, if not Marvel doesnt care if one person dont read their comics.
Has nothing to do with the recent chances. I haven't regularly collected since the New 52 and Marvel Now stuff. I just buy collected trades, now: cheaper and easier.

oh....
It's not like I'm reading any Marvel right now anyway.
People who complain about changes to characters are the people who cause the characters to stagnate. I prefer change, it makes things more interesting. They should have kept Superior Spider-man but they brought Pete back and that was a major downer.
Keeping the status quo sucks for everyone.

That guy said it best.
@undefined: wolverine literally just died and you already want him back? Smh this is what's wrong with people
Where's the option "don't care"?
I don't care. People make these threats are either move on or stick with it like with the new-52. It's not going away anytime soon.

You do realize that by that merit you can never be satisfied. Also you contradict yourself. You claim on the one hand that the staus quo sucks yet complain when Doc Ock being Spider-Man was changed to Peter Parker; which would by definition diverge from the status quo of Doc Ock controlling Peter's body.
So it would seem that the status quo doesn't suck so much as you simply enjoy controversy. For example I would be willing to bet you would enjoy it if Batman was more willing to kill villains and Superman was less idealistic in his determination to save everyone.
Still reading Marvel I don't have a problem with the changes. I buy what I like and ignore the rest, loving Secret Wars so far btw.

And a much needed laugh was received.
@redlantern2814: As a consumer of culture, satisfaction is as fleeting as appetite. I like Burgers alot but I don't want to eat them all the time.
Where did I say that Superior Spider-man had to remain Doc Ock? Superior Spider-man is a title, I just didn't want them to go back to Peter. I'd be cool if Peter came back in a different capacity though.
@dedmanwalkin: Who were they dealing with in Superior Spider-Man, and who did Peter Parker come back in place of, if not Doc Ock?
@harriso You should have added an option "I'm going to move to DC'". :-D
I'm going to vote boycott marvel for now.
@redlantern2814: Doc Ock could have been replaced by someone else or a new Superior Spider-man could have popped up or even Multiple Superior Spider-men could have tried competing for the best Spider-man. I'd love a battle whereupon learning that Spider-man is currently Doc Ock, someone like Iron Fist or Hawkeye puts on a Spider Costume and goes and fights him.
@dedmanwalkin: So you wanted Superior Spider-Man to be a constantly shifting series of who became Spider-Man; even people with no Spider powers to take up the mantle? Well I would point out how poorly that very concept tends to turn out. Batman's battle for the cowl and the Death/Return of Superman; both attempted to have a competition for who could take up the mantle and all of it was rather underwhelming.
Not to mention the thing that made Supeior Spider-Man interesting was the Doc Ock in Peter's body aspect. Throwing him out for Iron Fist, to be replaced by Hawkeye, to be replaced by whoever next, would have only served to be repetitive and ironically become a status quo; ensuring you never being satisfied.
Marvel has always failed to have too many good books out at one time. SO will give them a go at least.
@redlantern2814: Again, I am not saying that any of these things had to happen or even that Superior Spider-man had to remain a thing but going back to the Status Quo or Pete as Spidey was the least interesting choice.
@makhai: That's too extreme O_o
