How long would you last a Zombie Apocalypse?

Depends on how fast they are. If they are Walking Dead fast, I could last a long time. Just gotta outsmart them

What kind of zombies are they? Walking Dead zombies? Something else?

I'd only have to last until Winter. Cold, non-flowing blood freezes.

Given where I live, the Zombies wouldn't be the problem, finding food would be. I could hunt/trap through one winter, but I doubt I'd make it past the second.

Not very long.

Depends on the initial outbreak and the remaining population in my city. Going out alone in a horror movie is never a good idea.

If it's the fast ones I might last a week. If I don't freeze the first time one blitzes me.

I live out in the country in a neighborhood where literally everyone has a small personal armory, and within a short walking distance of a clean, free flowing river.

I'd say I have much better chances than most at surviving a zombie apocalypse.

I could probably survive a while with any type of zombie as long as I stay smart and cautious.

If they're the fast-type zombies I don't think anyone would stand much of a chance.

But as long as they don't eat the guy who delivers my groceries I'll be fine...

I give myself a few months up to a year or two. My only problem would be trying to find food to eat and finding a way out considering I live in a pretty populated area. I could hide out at the high school, grammar school, police station, or firehouse that are all literally only a block from house

I can see myself lasting several years. I'm a New Yorker, so surviving is in my blood.

You can't be afraid to do what you have to do to survive. Anti-bullying campaigns would do you no good in this scenario.

Dead in the first day.

If they are running zombies than yea, less than A month for me. If they are realistic Zombies like the Walking dead than we can last for a while. just got to be cautious

well a sword seems to make you invincible against zombies, and these zombies are slow, so I should last a while

humans would be my biggest concern, I'd say either several months or live a long life

I would be fine. I might not last very long on my own but my girlfriend plays zombie games all the time. She would know where all the best loot is.

I think the people that can think on their feet would be survivors. Do you use a single shelter or live nomadically?

How do you zombie proof the shelter?

Do you have a food & water source?

Do you know how to purify water and cook/ start a fire if need be?

Have you armed yourself with an effective weapon? You don't want to be the guy with the bum leg and the flimsy weapon.

Guys that just try to wing it don't survive.

3mph top speed. Man i move 9m/s at most which is about 19-20mph and 8m/s at average which is about 15mph i will survive for long but again they have infinite endurance and stamina....... Naaaa will still survive.

I think I can do really well if I can get to my car. Then I just head North.

Growing up a country boy definitely makes me confident in my survival abilities in said scenario. Hunting and fishing are already a couple of my favorite things to do. I have plenty of firearms, ammo, archery equipment, supplies and know how to make it through. My entire family are farmers, carpenters or other craftsmen so we would do fine.

The other nice thing is that, unlike the Walking Dead, there would actually be a finite number of the walkers and it would probably be a pretty peaceful existence.

The biggest problem you get in a zombie apocalypse aren't zombies but warlords with their looter goons and maniacs. Assuming that my government also survives, they replace these warlords and the corrupt hacks in the parliament and ministries will have the reasons they always needed to rule over us with an iron fist.

I think I'd last a while. Walking Dead zombies aren't anything to difficult.

The main issue would be how you handle that first day. Odds are, you'll want to check on your friends and family...

I guess it all comes down to instints and having the will to live knowing myself i firmly believe i could survive for years but the choices i would have to make....,

if we're talking about the average slow mindless zombies, then i would live a long life.

depends how long the apocalypse lasts for. viral zombies are humans too and will soon die and decay, so I don't think the apocalypse would last more than a month. otherwise if all goes to plan I might live a long life for another 80 or so years

Depends on the zombie, if TWD zombie then I'll probably last a while. Supplies would be easy to find but hard to get since I live in NYC.

I'd worry about the humans.

Not very long, densely populated area are usually the first to go.

This is my zombie plan clear out a hotel or something go to the top floor barricade my self in and watch Star Wars untill I die of hunger

I can easily think dozens of ways to mow down ungodly amount of zombies and how stay safe at noight and where to get enough food, so yeah I could live for years until another human comes along and does me in...

Longer than you.

Several years. I'm a trained medical responder, and have above average knowledge in Firearms and Outdoor skills. I could be an asset to nearly any group I come across, and they would go out of there way to keep me alive. In the longer term, having somebody with medical experience goes a long way in establishing a settlement.

In all honesty, I would live a long time as long as I don't have to put down any of my family for becoming zombies. I know how to make a lot of weapons from cheap stuff, break scissors in half get two knives. Get knives. Air soft gun can work against zombies I think. Make a moltov from alcohol, towel and lighter. Find some sports equipment to cover my body so can't be bit. Tons of things you can do. In todays day an age though, the zombie apocalypse will be solved by our governments quick enough.
