How does the rebellion fair if Luke and Leia both joined their father?

Crushed pretty fast without leia lidership and luke destroying the death star.

It gets even worsewhen they are in the other side

I don't think either would be as powerful as their good selves.

The Rebellion looses. Without Luke, the Death Star doesn’t get destroyed so the empire blows up Yavin 4 while tie fighters take care of the remaining rebels.
