Could the Doctor have stopped World War Hulk?

Assuming that they exist in the same universe, could Doctor Who have gotten World War Hulk to not attack earth? He obviously would not be able to survive a physical confrontation outside the Tardis, but was there anything he could have said or done to change the Hulk's mind or prevent him from getting to earth?

No.

Could he have changed the Hulk's mind? No

Could he have stopped the Hulk? Yes

If he were thinking straight the Doctor would figure out a way to drop WWHulk on the Daleks then kick back with some pop corn.

Yep. The Doctor could just BFR him to another reality or dimension or just go back in time and prevent him from becoming Hulk in the first place.

And the doc+marvel's resources would be a crazy combination..

The Marvel heroes who where present during WWH could have stopped it if it weren't for plot.
