Sinestro and Sean Luthor, in human form, surveyed Oa, abandoned apart from the scampering Sinestro Corps members, covered in Yellow. "You made this all possible...The Green Lantern's have been scattered across the Universe, many of them dead. And the slaying of Hal Jordan...My, you have far surpassed your human origins." Luthor nodded. Although he kept telling himself that this was the right way, he couldn't help but feel deep inside him that he had committed a great wrong. Whatever feelings, he kept to himself. "Yes, master. The universe will be ruled under the power of fear." Sinestro smiled, Sean was far more worthy of being his apprentice than Jordan ever was. "Excellent...We will be going after the Justice League next...Gather what allies you can." Luthor nodded, immediately, thinking immediately of Ivy, Harley and Cyborg. He wouldn't fight Cyborg, he was the only JLA member who trusted him.
"...After those fools have been dealt with, we will proceed to our assault on Earth?" Luthor was taken aback, his hand behind his back slowly becoming covered in the Doomhound symbiote and shifting to a clawed form. "Wait...What?" Sinestro stood in front of Doomhound. "Don't worry, we'll spare who we can...But when we said the whole universe, we meant Earth too."
"But..."
Sinestro said not a word. Sean quieted down. "We had a great victory today Sinestro. I was hoping that maybe I could have a break to simply meditate..." Sinestro nodded, "You killed Hal Jordan, Sean? You've earned it..." Sean bowed, before shifting into Doomhound form and flying away. He flew for the longest time before reaching Earth, Gotham specifically...A rooftop. As he looked over the rooftop, he thought about the life he took, how far he had walked from his original morals. Sean burst into tears, even in Doomhound form, his cries coming off as horrific shrieks in the night...
Meanwhile...
Jason Blood had just finished all of his work. He had been studying this "Sean Luthor" character for quite some time now. All over his house were pictures and news articles about this "Doomhound". Apparently, a blood sample had revealed him to be the son of millionaire Lex Luthor...No wonder he had a hard time making choices. Apparently, the Sean Luthor had been bonded with an alien-demonic entity known as "The Doomhound" from Bthodes, Alien Darkness God of Fear. He had found something of a kindred spirit: His origins were demonic in nature, but he had attempted to use his powers for good. Unfortunately, he had been straying off the path of morality recently. He stared at Gotham City from a distance, as he had detected Doomhound using his smell. "Looks like somebody needs a little...Education.", Blood mumbled, as he stepped out from the forest into the city, tracking the man he had set his sights on for so long.
