GA supes is nothing like his other incarnations,,jumping over buildings and pulling a train up a hill aren't enough to beat aquaman,,I'm going with aquaman FTW

lol. any version of Superman literally destroys any version of Aquaman. Just a cheap Namor knockoff Aquaman is a lame character and concept, always has been.

New 52 versions of DC characters make my skin crawl they are pale vestiges of DC's once awesome pantheon.

Superman had full Flight by the mid-forties (for example) and his power continued to grow up to and including the silver age.

@turoksonofstone: in the golden age 38-39 supes was strong fast jumped and and had x ray vision by 40-41 supes was at pre flashpoint levels and by 42 he was doing silver age feats.

Even if it early golden age he stills takes it he didn't have as many morels and is still to fast for aquaman

Early Golden Age, Aquaman due to having greater feats of strength than Superman, although Superman is still faster from what i've seen

Mid Golden Age, Superman due to being physically above and beyond anything Nu52 Arthur has done or will do.

Late Golden Age, he's practically Silver Age.......

Superman wins more times than not........

I know that....but considering this takes place on a beach, if Superman goes into the water, which he will, he's done, since Aquaman is vastly faster and even stronger under water...

In this scan he zips down and seals up a giant trench by pushing it shut.

Next he gets shot out of a atlantian air craft that exploded very high in the air... this is out of water....

Superman of early Golden Age has "ok" durability ..... but he has to contend with the sea and the magic trident

Aquaman Curbstomps him given the fact that he is on the beach and water gives him vast amounts of power.

New 52 characters lame? LOL. If anything, they're better, both image wise and story wise. Aquaman is actually COOL in the New 52. I give this battle to Superman though, due to superior speed.

He doesn't have a weakness to magic, but he wasn't that durable, he could be damaged by artillery fire, Aquaman packs more power in his trident. Also, Superman was only fast in travel speed, not fighting speed. So he won't be able to successfully speed blitz, not to mention that he's never actually speedblitzed in early golden age.

He doesn't have a weakness to magic, but he wasn't that durable, he could be damaged by artillery fire, Aquaman packs more power in his trident. early supes hoped 1/8 or 1/4 of a mile so i think superman still wins on super leap

I am not basing my opinion of Superfreinds at all. It is just my opinion.

Aquaman has never had a significant arc other than his beefs with Black Manta IMO.

Aquaman has never had a significant arc other than his beefs with Black Manta IMO.

Just to name a few: Brightest Day, American Tidal, The Search for Mera, his New 52 stuff all don't just center around him and Black Manta.
