you guys dont seem to realize how fast this guy is....Lantern rings can only create things at the speed of thoughts. Sinestro's force field wont hold up to sentry even if he had time to put it up. If it could Sinestro and every other lantern would be near unbeatable.
Also lets not forget that it "DID" kill Morgan Le Fey...she just could reappear from aa different point in time, which made her unbeatable in our time...
But if you guys want to play that roll, you cant even kill Sentry...so he wins cause Sinestro wouldnt be able to finish him off. He could just keep coming back to live again and again.

Good thing GL force fields are always up now. And lets not forget that Morgan's durability isn't particularly high. It isn't anywhere near Sinestro's.
If an actual battle took place, Sentry would probably win as the writers would just make him pull some new powers out of his @$$ in the middle of battle.
a superman FANBOY fav has to be used here (speedblitz) sentry wins, a rushed barrage of punches would put sinestro down before he knows whats happening. I doubt sinestro even at full power would ko sentry since hes durabilty and strenght are his main assest, where sinestro is essentialy just a man with a rather powerful weapon , plus the the whole light rings should be useless against sentry since he is supposed to gain power from light ( like superman)

in a pure power and physical match up i go Sentry. his speed, durability, and strength advantage is way too high. Sinestro's biggest advantage is forcefield and/or containment. Sentry walked through Dr.Dooms forcefield quite literally so thats hard to contest. that is if both characters had their brains removed which isnt the case....

and that is he is extremely vulnerable to it. its in fact his weakness. as well Sentry is a straight up brick. he relies solely on his uber powers. this is how characters like Hercules and She-Hulk have managed to drop him with very little, because Sentry rushes in and doesnt deal well with strategy. Sentry is because of the above also easily confused and open to manipulation, even by powerless beings like Norman Osborn.
Sinestro is a master tactician first off. And as far as utilizing ones fear against them, thats Sinestros A game. Manipulating Sentry will be no problem either. Strategy wise Sinestro owns Sentry, using every leverage against him, just like Sinestro would with years of experiance observing and battling opponents with " Superman like " powersets and far more adverse.
Sinestro for the majority of wins.

i like that thinking, but lantern energy is more than just light, and untested against most Marvel Universe powers/physics/ect, so that card becomes moot.
I agree with Son_of_Magnus. While Sentry is scared of his own shadow, Parallax only needs your body (and powers). Neither Kyle nor Hal were exactly in charge while possessed. So if Sentry were possessed by Parallax, I think Sinestro would have a powerful member of the corps.
^^ definitly agree with you guys and if parallax can infect people like Kyle and Hal who are suppsoed to be immune to fear then it should be easy to infect sentry. Hal is "The man without fear" and he only had to experience ear for a split second to be consumed
