As  a twin my life has always revolved around me and my brother all that changed when we hit puberty. My brother carrrys the preety much the same genes as me but as non identical twins there are some changes. Namely he's a  dorment x gene carrier  where mine is full functional. This lead to issues within the family since neither of my parents claim to carry the gene, it took me years to find out that my mother was the carryer of the dormant gene she got from her mother, " my biological grandmother" whos now totally insane. Her powers consumed her brain and made her into a twisted bitter old women who my mum no longer recognises as family.

After the origin of the gene was found i realised that for once me and my brother couldmt be compared anymore since techically we where different species, he was happy with his life where as i wanted to learn to improve/master my powers. The first power that showed was my genetic manipulation during a paintball game at my 12 birthday i used to wear glasses and i decided to take um off for paintball wishing that i could still see ok and then bam no need for glasses.

The rest showed up in odd ways to i tried making my body lighter than air so i could float but fell off the off when i saw some girl over the road getting changed" give me a break i was 13" the broken concentration ment i a broke my ankle , the bone stuck out and everything i looked to make myself a split using nearby stuff. i pushed the bone in to set it and the wound just closed up the ankle was back to normal soon as the bone was in much to my suprise. Since i wanted to test how well my ankle healed i went to the gym next day and found myself to not only be as good as i ever was but much better  i was far quicker and more flexable than i ever was. I came to the conclusion my powers where starting to really exspand  so i kept trying to best myself.

By the time the rest of my powers showed up i was able to be some amazing things my healing factor didnt just make me resistant to serious injury it made me imortal "for lack of a better word" try making you muscles bigger till they explode and then tell me that growing it all back is normal. I decided that since gentics all boils down to is chemistry in the body maybe i could master manipulating chemistry like move about atoms etc. Turns out with great concentration i could not just manipulate and enhance things at a sub atomic level i could break them down and reform them elsewhere teleportation travel was just a by prouct of this abilty but one i was determined to use to see the world and do what i could.

After realising i had wasted so much time test myself when i could of been helping already i decided to give myself a codename,  create myself a good cover life so people wouldnt suspect i was the new hero in town. I enrolled in univeristy taking Biomedical chemistry. I decided tha the best way for me to hear about trouble would be to have conections to other heroes" didnt work out well ". or have my . The first idea feel through how does a hero advertise to join  a team without actualy going out doing the work and then maybe getting an invite from somewhere. So with alittle creative wiring i made myself my own little mission room complete with fridge full of snacks to keep me going. This set up allowed me to  scan police radios and find web related articles, my crime lab is on the left it needs work all th e power is going to the tech need some lights.


The only problem left was deciding on a name/gimic i didnt wanna be a cheesy hero  and i dint wanna be a knowbody so i needed to be both catchy and  lasting. After days of thinking i came to the conclusion, of just using a fake name and using my genetic manipulation to alter my features so i could blend in and not be spotted i then created two personas to do this Paul Malone and  Dr Hugo Smith depending on the situation i could use either or make new one. In general paul is for recon in open access areas and the good doctor is the infiltrator.Whilst the student persona i would be myslef , after all my mother knew i carried the gene but never saw me use my powers so why not keep ther family safe by just pretending that the gene didnt affect me.

So now we come to today iam still at uni as a  trainy lecturer and still doing the superhero gig when i can why cant life just be easy.
